Received a ghost update today. Completed my biometrics yesterday. The status changed from submitted to Application/profile updated when I logged in today and again to submitted after logging out and then in one more time. I've heard that usually a ghost update follows biometrics completion and there are total 3 ghost updates.

Is there anyone who got it as well? What stage of processing is the application on at this point of time?
 
What kind of ghost update?
Can't tell what exactly has been updated, that's why it's called 'ghost update'. But when the profile's current status changes from 'submitted' to 'application/profile updated' and again back to 'submitted' on logging in, this tells that there is a ghost update.

Completed Biometrics today. VFS is truly cashing in on the desperation of applicants, The premium service thingy is such a hoax but everyone ( that includes me) simply gives in because they are afraid of waiting anymore.
 
It says 'Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.'
That is what has updated.

Previously it would have been "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. "

I also got Ghost update today and this is what changed.

I dont know how much of this we can follow but this provides a bit of idea what is happening

My ADR status changed to Not applicable today. Does anyone else also got similar chamge?

So that means we both are probably at Real IP1 stage, if I am not wrong here.

Same thing happened to me few days ago and when I called IRCC the agent said that my eligibility was passed (I'm not sure if recommended or conclusively).
I think you should give it a try and call them (ask for eligibility, criminality, security and VO).
