@legalfalcon
Hope you are doing great. I wanted to ask you regarding a web form.
I recently got some information corrected in the national database, so my national ID was also re issued as a consequence.
Nothing has really changed on the ID expect the issue and expiry date, everything else remains the same.

Should i update the ID copy with IRCC via web form? As IRCC already has another identification document which is the passport.

Di you mention this national id in your application? If you did, and if the details have changed, you should update.

Thank you.

Yes I did mention it in the application and had uploaded it as well. This week got the new one and old one was cancelled.

Did raise a webform to update the ID card in the application.

guys what are your thoughts on this huge draw ? 27K cec applicants.
What does this mean for our applications that are in process ?
will they just keep them at the side and focus only on these 27k invites ?

Hello guys,

CEC inland
My AOR is Jan. 24, 2021.
MEP/BIL on Feb. 12, 2021 (got an email for this)
Today (Feb. 13) i got another email saying your application status has changes, but I don’t see any. Is that a ghost update? What does this mean?

Usually, the GU would not send an email to you. But if you see the "application updated" and nothing changed inside. That might be a GU.
I assume someone was looking into your app. Good Luck.

Hi Darshan1191,
I submitted my biometrics through New York VAC. All the appointments at ASC are occupied and its tough to get a slot in next 3 weeks.
What do you mean by GU? also is there any other way to check the status than logging on the IRCC account. Thanks.

Let me know if you need any other info.
Hey Toshit1990 what all documents are needed at VAC. Also how do they link your biometrics information to your profile. I have an appointment booked in ASC where they ask for the BIL reference code on your BIL letter. But in vac they just give you a reference number.

I am planing to give it in VAC now. Please help.

Hi ssk1234:

At VAC you need 3 documents: BIL letter (print from your ircc account), Appointment Letter (you will receive when you book an appointment) and your original passport.
They will scan the barcode on the BIL when you visit VAC for biometrics. Your records will then be automatically linked to your IRCC account. You will even see those reflected on your IRCC account in 2 hours.

All the best, let me know if you need any other info.
