Hi, Today afternoon, I checked and linked my wife's application successfully. It states 4% complete (Application received).
It also states background check in progress. I have not yet received any mail related to AOR.
How did you linked without AOR

I just went to "Link an application after logging to CIC gckey". Then I put the categories like "Permanent Resident"-->"Family Class(Spouses"-->"name and UCI" (I had their UCI with me since I added them into my PR application as non-accompanying")--> answered all other questions and they found my application.
 
Received AOR today morning 5 AM ( PST)

That’s a good news. Can you please tell me from which email ID we would be receiving the AOR email?

I tried linking my application in CIC but it didn’t work. My application received date is Jan 8th..

Hi, I received email from "Client-update-mise-a-jour@cic.gc.ca" (Do not reply). How are you trying to link. In the last question "How many family member", what value are you putting. Please put total number of family members including you. I put 3 since I had PA, son and myself

CHECK IF YOU CAN GET INTO ECAS FIRST. ITS SIMPLER. WITH LESS QUESTIONS

Long time lurker but officially part of the Outland Jan 2020 group! CPC in Sydney, NS received our docs today. Sent it by DHL from the UK. The signature proof of delivery says 'EN Complete' instead of someone's name so I am assuming that's alright? Fingers crossed for all of us! I'll add myself to the spreadsheet. Looking forward to this journey with everyone:)

Thank you for your reply. I entered 2 family members thinking it should be PA + 1 child, I didn’t count myself. I will try entering 3 members...

Hi all,
My app was received by CIC on 2nd Jan, till date havent received AOR.
i am worried and concerned as people after me (whose app was received on 6th Jan have received the AOR) and am still waiting.
I am OCT 2019 applicant and my application was returned on 24th NOV as i missed to put a doc. Then re-submitted again and the appl. was received on JAN 02.
Really worried and concerned as CIC sends back entire application as soon as they find 1st mistake / missing form / missing sign...etc. instead of going thru entire package.
Instead they should go thru entire package and if they find any mistake / missing form or info they should make a list of missing items and notify us.
 
I am able to link the application to my profile now. However, I am unable to see the status in ECAS link. has anyone faced this kind of an issue ?

Yes, I was able to link fine to gcms but no success in ecas no matter what I try. My best guess is that there is a typo on ecas side that means I can't find my profile. But only speculation.
