Guys few people also saying, we need to submit PCC from Canada along with country of birth and countries where we lived more than 6 months..is it true??? Inputs are highly appreciated ( Inland Appplicants).
if you search the IRCC website, all the information is there. Background security checks in Canada are initiated by IRCC and not PR applicants. If you go to RCMP, yes they will take your finger prints and do the background check and give you the results....However, IRCC does their own background check not only through RCMP but other authorities in Canada

Yep it's necessary to provide Canadian PCC, I applied a month ago they said you'll receive it in your mail box within 15 days. But didn't received anything yet.
If you ask RCMP to do your background check, they will. Anyone can get their background check done by RCMP. They will charge you a fee, take your finger prints, and conduct a background check and send you the results. BUT, for PR purposes, IRCC has their own process. What they need from PR applicants is a PCC from their own home country and any foreign country an applicant has lived in for 6 months and above.

What is RCMP? I just sent PCC of my country. I is necessary? How long it takes time to get it? Thanks
PCC for your home country and any country you have lived in for 6 months and above is what is needed. IRCC will conduct their own background check here in Canada.

Hii
Everybody,
My AR is June 22, 2020
I got my PAL on June 8, 2021

Still wondering when I will get my DM.
Is their any one in same situation like me. Any June applicants
I am a June 30, AR applicant. I received my MR letter on June 14, and going for my medicals early JUL. I am excited to see that after Medicals passed the process is moving fast. If you have your PAL, wow, good on you. I am sure you will receive your DM pretty soon.

In my friends case he got ADR(Additional Document Request) and that was for Canadian PCC with fingerprints. He went to RCMP and then submitted the PCC through his GC key account and then after his file processed further. That's why I was worried about PCC from RCMP. Anyways tomorrow I'll try to make a call to IRCC and will ask them.

It's necessary if they asked for it. I did not send RCMP PCC.

Unless your friend's case is a special one. I know several people who have applied for PR, myself included, and we did not do a PCC for Canada. Check out this official website for IRCC, it says PCC for Canada is not required. But yes no harm in calling to clarify.
