That's right i have been dealing with IRCC for so long now. every time i open my cic account i have anxiety attacks

Any one knows how much time it takes to receive the OWP after AOR?
And also if we need to link the OWP separately in the cic account?

Around 4 months for OWP. So 2 months for AOR, you will wait another 2 months after AOR.
you can check previous post. A person posted: "
You can link your OWP about five days after you get AOR.
Do the same when you link your application. For OWP, You select "Temporary residence or work permit," then "open work permit," the "spouse in Canada" and fill in the details, instead of selecting "Permanent residence."

my application was received on January 23rd.
i haven't received the AOR yet, but on ECAS i can see the status in process.

Does that mean my application is complete and has been accepeted?

Are you the sponsor? The mail comes to sponsor’s! Check spam if it’s there.

Is that email AOR?

i thought we will receive a hard copy in post

Thats what i receive too! And i believe AOR is done thru email
But i dont know if they send another email saying they will start processing

For biometrics where would i need to go to start the process? Me and my fiance are getting married next week and plan on filing in a few months. I know that i need biometrics in order to get a police certification. Then when we file the paperwork the turnaround time could take 4 months with an owp just to receive an AOR? While thats processing do we still need to file a trv or do we classify under implied status.
