Hello Everyone,

I hope you guys are safe and healthy.

I was going through forum and it came to my notice that I forgot to record 1 day in my physical presence calculator when I did flagpole at US border to get my PR. It was just flagpole and nothing else. At that time I didn’t had a US Visa. Can someone please help me in this. What should I do ?

I did flagpole in 2016 and in 2018 I got US Visa and made 2 trips to US which I have recorded properly in Physical Presence Calculator. In total I have 1230 days of physical presence.

I submitted my Citizenship application in Jan 2020 and till now I haven’t got any test invite. I only got fingerprints request which I have already completed. My file is in Vancouver office.
Relax!
Did they put a stamp on your passport (canada or US side)? If not Don't even worry. Also, flagpole doesn't count as a day as far as I know since it is couple hours. You also have days more than enough

You don’t need a stamp in your passport to flagpole, but you are registered at both ends that you left and entered again. It doesn’t count as a day lost, but technically you did leave Canada.

They didn’t added put any stamp on my passport. I only got US VISA 1.5 years after that. The visits I did to US after getting passport are properly recorded though. If they had put a stamp in my passport I could have remembered it. But I have also added photocopies of all the stamps that are on my passport along with the one that was added by Canadian side when I did flagpole.

What would you suggest? Should I submit a webform and let them know ?

One more question, Will it have any negative impact on my file. I will be reporting them this after almost 1.5 years after I submitted my file.
I honestly don’t know, but declaring a mistake shouldn’t be penalized. Again, it doesn’t affect your presence, so it shouldn’t be a problem to declare so.

Had a couple questions for people here:
1. On my ECAS tracker, my application has stopped updating after 'In Process' although I passed the online citizenship test and have my test interview tomorrow. Is this normal?
2. Does the 'Decision Made' step get posted to ECAS or do you get an email?
3. What is the expected wait time for the oath letter and oath ceremony after the decision is made?

Thanks!

Yes.

It'll show up as an ECAS update.

3. What is the expected wait time for the oath letter and oath ceremony after the decision is made?

Nobody can tell you that. It varies from person to person because the local office, officer processing the application, the workload of the office etc are variables. You might want to check the spreadsheet in my signature to see what some cases where timelines are recorded.

Thanks!
