I received my gcms notes last week most of it was blanked as per section 15,16 and 19.

But It said in my knowledge test section that due date is Feb 28, 2021. I know its the target date set when my application was forwarded to Calgary office but I am not sure if they are meeting their targets in this situation.

Those dates are just dates. Its not a deadline for cic workers as they have 699 code to use. it was not a deadline even before pandemic(as we saw that a lot of applicants did not even give the test within 12 months) hence its all up to the officer if he/she wants to process the file or not.

I have heard that CIC calls to the citizenship applicants before sending them emails for test invite, is it true ?

There have been one or two non-urgent February 2020 applicants getting invites as per forum posts!

GCMS notes can be requested from IRCC or CBSA or both. But it's almost as good as coin toss whether you will receive your GCMS file in 30 days or if it's going to take far longer

Also, during the pandemic IRCC and CBSA both will accept an electronically signed consent form

Can one file and send citizenship application from abroad/outside Canada after completing required physical presence in Canada? Is there any bar in law/rules ?

My application is returned because I missed one page at CIT-0002 (Page No.5) and so I printed it and attached it to the same application without updating the signature at the last page . Have you done like that?

HI , Did any one receive online test invite? My application was moved to IN-process on Nov 6th 2020 and no status yet. Can any one let me know any approx. ETA. Am asking coz my PR is going to expire in a week and do i need to renew it ? or can i request IRCC to expedite my citizenship application.

Apply for PR renewal. What if you need to travel urgently? PRTD is also slow from what I last read.

Your PR Card may expire but your PR status will not. PR status can only be removed through an official process.

You should renew your PR card if you plan to travel outside Canada sometime in the next year or so (just in case you don't get your citizenship by then)
