Hi all, is there any info of someone getting an invite to the online test yet? Been two weeks since the rollout of the online test, but haven't seen any news of someone getting an invitation...

Multiple posts from FB are there with the test invites. All are 2019 applicants. We saw just couple or so in this forum but i could see more posts on test invites in FB group. Seems many are not active in this forum than the FB.

Looks like they are inviting little more people but not yet for more people we expect. Will see if that changes in Jan.

Thank you for this information! Do you, or anyone else has any idea of how fast they are moving with the test process? I mean are they moving faster or slower than the original process? It would make sense that more people online would be giving the tests daily compared to in-person tests. Just wondering how long it would take for them to reach the January applicants and invite them for the tests.

I think that its dead slow for the time being. We will have to watch it for few more weeks in Jan to assess. Dont know if we get any meaningful invites in Dec due to holidays.
I think that there was a tweet from the minister on the online test from 1st quarter hence possibly we will get more test invites from Jan.

September and October 2019 applicants have been getting invites. They are starting with those who have had their tests cancelled so it might be a while before Jan 2020 applicants get theirs

Hi, My husband received a request for Fingerprinting today... is it Normal? Me and my husband had a fingerprint request at the time of PR also. Till now only he has got the FP request. His name is also not a common one that it could trigger a request. We are a family of 3 and only he received the request.
App Delivered - Jan 24
AOR - Aug 20
In Process - Oct 19
Fingerprints request - Nov 24
Anyone else in this situation!
Hi, my husband just got an email today requesting him to get a fingerprinting. We applied our PR 2015 and had it on 2016 but they didn't ask us to have the fingerprinting that time. I got my citizenship first in the family last 2019 but they didn't ask me to do it. We are just wondering if this a new policy or guideline for citizenship applications? Also, my son who is 17 applied together with my husband as a minor. Does he need to do fingerprinting, too? On the email, it requires my husband only. Just a bit confused here because on the IRCC website, it says fingerprinting exempts only applicant below 14 yrs of age. I hope someone gives us enlightenment here. Thank you so much in advance.

Hi guys,

Does your husband have a name considered common?

Some people from November and December 2019 already received test invites. I saw one of them applied december 21st, 2019 and got test invite. It depends maybe some of us will get it very soon or maybe it will take a while like February 2021 to start receiving test invite finger crossed

Hi, thank you for your reply. He has the same name as his father. His name has Jr. on it though. His father worked for 30yrs as seaman in oil tankers globally. He is retired now. Do you think this might be the reason why? Thank you again in advance for your response.
