January 2020 - citizenship application

AOR: Still waiting

I am getting worried now that my application was lost. I tried contacting via email but got an automated response that they are still processing applications received from Jan 14. I should have paid for the tracking mail instead of regular mail.

In March/Apr, people here talked about impossibility in allowing online oath. But now its allowed. So its not impossible as we think, just how we thought in March.
Unless they start conducting tests from this year, i dont think they have much choice other than online test or oral test. Will see. Hoping for online/oral test (just like how they currently conduct for the people who did not pass the test twice) because even with regular tests with social distancing the paper files will mount considerably.

Online Oral test might be possible to happen. Let's hope for that.
 
After looking at all the other threads since June last year, no one has been booked for tests. Only virtual oath ceremonies. And even that is for randomly selected people. No news on test dates or how they conduct the tests as of yet.

Correct, lot of 2019 applicants are waiting for tests. And it would be 18 months this year without test if they dont start conducting tests.
I doubt that they will wait till next year june to decide on tests.

Also apart from waiting on 2019 applicants' progress (to see what cic decides on tests), i am watching the urgent applicants who file in the last few months to see how cic deals with those citizenship applications. So i think due to these 2 categories, we will know the cic's direction on tests within this year.

Dont; worry. similar on the list... with confirmed delivery on Jan 24. (in fact this was a returned application from Oct 2019).
No AOR. I also got a response from them indicating that they are still processing Jan 14.

vow.... cic is issuing AORs for march and returning applications for mar/apr but they are still returning few for jan. unacceptable way of working.
Is this information from the fb?

Applicant used an old application form from June 2019 instead of using Dec 2019 form and it got rejected as one of sub-question under question 16 was added in new form which old form didn't had

That doesn't make sense though because they state on their website that you're allowed to use any version as long as it's after Oct 2017...
