So when I login I see two lines actually saying Application received. Once I click on the link, I see one line item - 1. We have received your application on January 16.
Based on other people responses, if I would have an AOR issued, I would see a line #2 on the same page.
I called them a week ago, the agent told me that they haven’t completed entering information about my file in the system yet. And that I have to wait. But I thought it will be maybe a couple days, a week.
Does anyone know if they do some sort of security checks upon issuing AOR? Just to understand why it takes so long to issue a file number.

How did you login to the system, if you have not received your AOR yet? Did you use your PR card number or something else? Thanks.

Yes, you use your 8 digit UCI number on your pr card. When entering don’t type the dash in the middle.

So you have to selecet UCI number and enter the PR card 8 digit number without dash!! Correct?

they have moved to Feb.... they are now processing Feb 2nd week’s applications... not sure what’s happened with pending Jan ones...I’m sure there are some Jan applicants who haven’t received their AORs..
Someone on FB group reported an AOR today, his application was delivered on Jan 28. Looks like they are still working on January's applicants too.

My guess is that January applicants with more than one app are waiting because the rule is all apps in an envelope has to be good before being processed

You got the point right. And looking at the trend, most "single" applications are passing through quicker.

Hey, for those who received AOR, just wondering on the ECAS case status website, what does the status show as? Is it 'Application Received'?

Guys , My application was delivered on Jan 20 . i haven't heard anything from CIC no AOR no ECAS. Anybody in the same boat ?. Delivered before me & not recieved AOR

This is not 100% accurate , if you see Feb applicants thread a family of 5 received their AORs all at the same time yesterday. Their applications were received on feb 10. By your logic they should be the last group to receive their AORs. The truth is nobody here can predict how IRCC is dealing with applications right now. We can only speculate.

Quick question to those who have received AOR.

Can you guys see IN PROCESS line under your status? If yes then how many days it took after AOR for this line to appear?

Resubmitted on Jan 24. (Originally Oct 2019).
I guess they looked at the thickness of the package for a family of 3.
:-D
Like you already notice. MANY of the "single" applications are getting it faster. I do notice some exceptions here and there.

I don’t think so. My envelope had 3 applications and I already got AOR few weeks ago.

Resubmitted On Dec 27th 2019. Expected delivery today Jan 3,2020
Hello Everyone. I have a question. I sent my application for Citizenship on Aug 5, 2020 and the application reached on Aug 7th as per the status on Canada post. However, my application was signed and dated for Aug 10, 2020. As per Canadapost, delivery standards were 5 bus days for NS from ON. Therefore, I didn't think it would reach so quick within two days. Do you think the application would be returned back because it was signed for a future date? Or does the AOR date is what it matters?
When you received AOR, did it say date of receipt as when they actually received the mail or when they generated the AOR? I really appreciate your opinion on this?
Should I send another application, so that my submission is not delayed?
