As per FB group, one person from Feb 3 received AOR today. I really can’t understand the order they are working in
Oh man, that's A LOT of applicants to get through in one year... So basically there's roughly around 20k applicants per month and we're only aware of 50-200 applicants per month who register on the forum? The estimate is around 250, 000+ for 2020.
The target is 85% of permanent residents....(https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/departmental-plan-2019-2020/departmental-plan.html#sec03-1-3). The actual has been also around 85% range.
The new 2020 PR target information is here ..about 340,000 numbers for 2020....https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/notices/supplementary-immigration-levels-2020.html
Since approx 4 year lag is there from PR to citizenship..the 2016 PR intake numbers can be the basis for 2020 citizenship numbers.
2016 new PR is around 300,000 ..details are here...https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/annual-report-parliament-immigration-2017.html

They would like 85% of PRs to become citizens but in reality only 43% become citizens if they have stayed in country for 5 years and it increases to 73% if they have been in Canada for 10 years.Oh man, that's A LOT of applicants to get through in one year... Everytime I email IRCC I get told to check my application status but have never been told they are processing apps before a certain date but have noticed a few people have been getting the same response. Weird.I sent another email to IRCC last Friday, and got a reply today stating the same info as before. The wrote that they are processing applications received before Jan14th and confirmed that my application is not on the system yet
Thats the message from the call center through the phone call, not through email.Everytime I email IRCC I get told to check my application status but have never been told they are processing apps before a certain date but have noticed a few people have been getting the same response. Weird.
I cannot understand either. Just called IRCC and the agent said CPC Sydney is still processing applications received before 14 January. This is obviously wrong as some February applicants have already got their AORs and we are still waiting. As per FB group, one person from Feb 3 received AOR today. Do you see yourself in eCas?I cannot understand either. Just called IRCC and the agent said CPC Sydney is still processing applications received before 14 January. This is obviously wrong as some February applicants have already got their AORs and we are still waiting.
Nope. Neither did the call centre agent. He even performed an “extensive search” in the system but still cannot see my application, which makes sense tho... These are all paper applications, it simply means they haven’t been entered yet. I hope mine don’t end up being lost or misplaced after half a year collecting dust there LOLDo you see yourself in eCas?
Yes today I can see my and all other family member status via ecas. But I have not received email yet . What to do now even I donot know my case file number. Please guide me regardsMay be you would get it today/tomorrow as officer needs to enter one by one. if not then try checking the status online once your family can view their application status online because it seems the online status for some doesnt show immediately after AOR.
