I heared US resumed in person citizenship tests and they are giving citizenship certificate on the same day. They have made the Oath optional. Cic should also think about that.

Is your file transferred from sydney to local office?
As usual, it all depends on the office and the officers.
Mine was completed in Jan, Initiated transfer in feb but local office received it in Mar. I received test in June2021.

Anyone from Calgary office get oath after passing test in March? I haven’t heard anything since I passed the test almost 4 months ago!

Calgary office is the slowest in my opinion. I would understand when there was a delay in background check and test invites. But since everything else is done, all they need to do is just get as many people as possible to take oath and shrink the backlog. But they have their own ways, I guess.

"How long" is very subjective, greatly varies. To avoid disappointment, expect it'll take at least a couple of months for an oath notification (but could happen sooner than that).

I passed the knowledge test on May 04 from Calgary office. Since then nothing updated. File is placed on hold in GCMS notes. Very frustrating and long wait:
