Note 2 pertains to eligibility by a case processing agent. To know how eligibility progresses, see my previous post available at #3,201

Everything in the note looks good, your R75 (FSW criteria)and R76 (FSW MEC, obtain 67 points) is met. Since this note was made before your paid the RPRF, in your next GCMS notes this should have been updated.

There is nothing to worry about.

In the last 3-4 months not much processing has happened, depending on where your application is being processed. Also, after the case analyst or assistants make a determination on your eligibility, it takes some time for an officer to make a final determination, and only after this will your security begin.

For now, everything is in order, and your eligibility has no concerns.

Given that your AOR is January 2020, you are well within the normal processing timeframe.

I too am in a very similar stage and love to get your 2 cents on my query .

According to my recent GCMS notes (and webform)
- Eligibility is met (by Analyst)
- Criminality is valid
- Security is yet to start.

So does that mean the next steps are :

Officer reviews and passes Eligibility and only then the Security part will start ?

Yes, only after an officer makes a final determination on your eligibility, it will be marked as passed and then your security will start.

Webform response just received:

• The eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied have been passed,
  • you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.
• The background verifications are currently valid.
• The security background verification is currently valid.
• The criminality verifications are currently valid.

Based on what I've read on this forum, am I correct in assuming that everything is done and I just need to wait for the borders in India and Canada to open before I get my PPR?

AOR 01/17 and got a notification from CIC today asking me to upload my child's passport again. I had already done it while submitting the application so not sure why they are asking for it again. Did this happen to anyone? Here is what their notification said -

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the review of your application, we require the following documents:
<-- Child Name -->
Passport/Travel Document: Your passport must be valid at the time of visa issuance. If your passport has expired or will be expiring within the next 6 months, you must apply for a new passport as soon as possible. You can upload a copy of your biodata page (page with photograph and name) to your MyCIC account. This must be received at this office by: 2020/08/30

Applicants from US with COPR can travel as per my understanding.
