Hello @legalfalcon
Quick question, I’ve gotten a re-medical request. I’m currently in Canada, FSW-O, entered Canada on a study permit. Can I get the medical test done anywhere in Canada or do I have to get it done in the specific Canadian city where I have moved? I’m at some other city same province in Canada for the holidays

You can get your medicals done anywhere in the world from any panel physician who is listed on the IRCC website.

IF there is no place to upload the documents in your CIC account, send them via webform.

Hey @legalfalcon , what about someone who is from a visa exempt country such as the US? Thank you
You will get an email and per the protocol for your specific country, you will be asked to email a copy of your passport and the COPR will be sent by email or it can be mailed to you.

@legalfalcon hi, I'm filling in my arrivecan anf they're asking for purpose of travel.. I'm landing with copr do you think i fall into permanent resident or foreign national?
You are a foreign national. You only become a PR after you land, are examined at the port of entry and are admitted into Canada.

@legalfalcon good morning, hope you are doing well.

I apologies in advance for the complicated question but I wanted to know if it is possible.

I am planning to be in Montreal between Jan 22 and feb 6 as I have exams to pass for the canadian dental boards. I chose Montreal because my brother lives there and it was the only place i could register. I am doing the remeds for me and my family on the 3rd of Jan. The PR could be coming a few weeks later so I was wondering:

1- Can I go to Canada even though I am not doing my landing in Montreal because I am an express entry applicant and how to handle the PR coming in before the date of entry? Can I still go in because I would had already paid my tickets? The main problem is sending passports to vfs in not getting them back on time to travel as I am doing medicals jan 3rd and traveling jan 22. Is it possible to get the PR travel to Montreal nt do the landing and then go by car to a point of entry in Ontario to do my landing?

2- What if I get the PR between the 22nd and 6th of feb? Can i still do the landing via a point of entry by car in Ontario?

3- Shall we just go to canada with or without the PR not do the landing and that travel again a second time to do the landing? which would be very complicated.

In all cases I would be leaving again on feb 6th and we will move back to Canada during the summer.

thank you in advance for your time and answer.

@legalfalcon Sorry again for asking,

If I am from a visa exempt country (France) do I need to send the passport to VFS?? or I get my copr by email? If so my wife became a french citizen recently too but we applied with her passport of country of origin should I update that info in order send passports to vfs? Thank you again
