HI guys,

My application was approved on the 5th of June on my CIC portal and also there's a tab of Document status with have the COPR document number also an expiry date (07 July 2020).

I've raised a webform but the agent told me to send screenshots of my account? (wondering they dnt have access to my account)

I've emailed the Etobicoke office last week but no reply! (I assume they might be very busy with the recent covid situation)

Is anyone facing the same problem of not receiving their COPR document in their portal account or email?

Grateful if i can some advise because the expiry date is approaching.

Thanking you all in advance.
Hi, Did you receive the COPR via email?

Same problem than you . Approved on June 3rd and nothing. I sent a web form but they said. You have to send a new webform because we don’t have the same information on your account. I don’t know what does it mean !!

Hi, you are correct that checking in with IRCC about the status does not really influence (help or hurt) the progress of your application.
The 6 month mark comes from IRCC processing 80% of applications within 6 months. As per the latest report that has now dropped to 60%; meaning IRCC is taking longer to process applications.
https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/pub/2019-ee-report-pdfversion-eng.pdf

All the best and hope for a +ve outcome soon
Thank you.

Sorry about the long wait but I guess that's the effect of covid19. You said your VO is Accra and you haven't called or raised any webform.
How did you get to know your VO was Accra??
Thanks
I got to know about my Visa office from CIC response to my LOE. I had written to inform them of a slight change in my POF documents; in response, they acknowledged the receipt of the letter, and the CIC agent also advised I contact Accra Visa office directly if I have further specific concerns regarding my application. That's how I knew my file was transferred there.

I think my timeline is similar to yours. Perhaps we can keep in touch.

Well, some info I need to share.. PNP application (if paper based) processing time has now increased to 18-22 months. it will take total 6 months if it is in process and applied online.

I have spoken to few members and they were PNP outlanders. Their security clearance is only remaining and still they are given 22 months for decision as they had contacted CIC directly... Things are not looking very good honestly, and I pray that this thing is over soon.

Thank you

Is their application paper based ? I am not sure but I think, 6 months for online app and 18-24 months for paper based is the standard!!

Hello all members...
My profile is as given below.

AOR 28th Jan 2020.
MEP 12th Feb 2020.
Biometrics enrolled 13th Feb 2020.

I didn't get any GU until today. After reading your comments on this forum, I, too, got curious and decided to raise a webform in order to get information about my application. So, I raised a webform on the 08th of June 2020. The response from the IRCC agent for my webform was as given below...

Eligibility: The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied.
The security background verification has not been initiated.
The criminal background verification is currently valid.

I applied GCMS notes on the same day after receiving the response for my webform to get in-depth knowledge of my application process so that i may take necessary steps if required. I have not received my GCMS notes until today.

I raised a webform again on the 29th of June 2020, and i got the following responce from the IRCC agent today.

Eligibility: The responsible office reviewed the application and documents submitted and determined that you meet the Eligibility Requirements under the class of immigration for which you have applied.
The background verifications are currently valid.
The security background verification is currently valid.
The criminal background verification is currently valid.

It seems to me, from my latest webform response, that everything in my case has been passed and merely final decision/PPR email is pending.

But, i have two question.
Why did the officer mention in the last webform response that Your application is still being processed at the case processing centre in Ottawa, Ontario?
Is there something to be worried about?

I wish that all those who have applied for PR may get the golden email soon.

Got a webform response today:

hank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information you provided and can confirm that your application is still in process.

All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.

In addition, we can confirm that:

  • Your application currently meets the eligibility requirementsunder the immigration program for which you have applied,
    • you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.
  • The security background verification has not been initiated.
  • The criminal background verification is currently in process.
It seems my security and criminality check statuses have not changed since March, assuming due to COVID putting things on hold. Any other Outland applicants still pending criminality? And is criminality pass a prerequisite to background checks starting?

Thanks!

Hi Khurram,
Are you an outlander? Can you pls share your NOC details and if you applied through PNP? I believe, every application reaches to a certain office which takes care of your application for processing, so your office is Ottawa most probably. with your detailed information, it seems that the things are running at the background but with slow pace. my timeline is almost similar, just 1 month ahead of yours. my application is 72% completed and by august it will be 100%... as the days are nearing, BP is going up due to anxiety. :)

Pls keep us updated as every info is important with loads of hope for everyone..

Thank you & best of luck

Hello,
What is the completion %age of your application and where are you stuck? I believe yours should have been completed until now!

I am also an outlander - PNP - Alberta: I submitted my application exactly one month after your AOR i.e 22nd Feb 2020 and right now sitting at 72%. Next month is the decision...keeping all hopes intact and praying for everyone ...

Where did they get the information from ?

Hello Saleh,
out of 3 applicants, 2 are inland and 1 is outlander. all had a similar info. What do you mean by "security not yet initiated". my timeline is quite close to yours and expecting decision by aug 22, 2020. what is the completion percentage of your application as mine is showing as 72%. Did you recieve any updates through mail when your eligibility and criminal records were verified?

Thank you.
