In last week of October.
I may be wrong, but im beginning to see a trend based on similar posts here & other channels. Most people get a NOI from Alberta after 3-4 months of wait. At least, I have not come across anyone who created same month & got NOI same month. Could this be because they go through profiles on 'first in, first out basis'

One factor which is not a consideration for NOI is length of time in the pool ( unless of course it has to do with expiration of your profile). I rest my case.
Let’s all hope for the best!
It is not a factor in the decision. But they probably process profiles as they come in. So it takes some time. Otherwise it would mean that someone like me simply wouldn't be invited at all, as I haven't been invited. Yet I have more points than needed, prior and current work experience in Alberta.

I received a NOI on January 9, received in 20 days after putting my profile in EE.
CRS 409
Do not loose hope guys. All the best.
Hi please after creating your EE profile, did you need to send to Alberta before you got your nomination?
I just finished creating my profile and would like to apply for Alberta pnp? Thanks

(this is the particular one I missed out! Created profile on Oct 15, 2019, draw was on Oct 9, my NOC 4212 was chosen and the lowest score was
350. Some people with no ties to AB at all received NOI. I know I would have received NOI had I been in the pool at the time).

But hey at the end of the day, we are all hoping for that NOI cos like me, that’s my ray of hope. 3 people so far received it this month. Fingers crossed.

Hello Everyone. Can someone tell me my chances of getting NOI in Alberta.
I have a sibling in Alberta
My CRS score is 350 for now. Hoping to write another IELTS.
My NOC code is 4163, Business development representative.
I created a new EE profile after it expired this month of January.

I keep wondering why i dont get an invite from Alberta even when they go down as low as 350.
My CRS score last year was 374 until my husband's IELTS result expired and my CRS score went low.

Does my NOC require a CRS of 400 and above?
Pls someone who is familiar with Alberta PNP should help out. Thanks so much.

The most common factors considered in AINP application processing include:

  • application quality (completeness, eligibility, outdated application information/documents)
  • labour market information
  • volume of applications received
  • the date the application was received"
So time is a factor, as they have to process your application.

I think you are confusing NOI selection and the actual AINP processing.
To get NOI:
You may receive a Notification of Interest letter if you:

  • Have an active Express Entry profile in the federal Express Entry pool
  • Have stated an interest in immigrating permanently to Alberta
  • Are working in an occupation that supports Alberta’s economic development and diversification, and
  • Have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score of 300.
There is nothing about how long one is in the pool (Except of course if your profile is about to expire).
The “date application received” as per your post is referring to when you submit your application post NOI! Not the date you submitted your EE profile.

When you have dreams, your mind tends to do all sort of analysis. :D

Hope is what we live on. Aparently there might have been another draw on 22nd Jan. Hopefully aspirants share their stats here. It is surely encouraging to see what gets picked.
