It doesn't really matter, you can submit at either of the two (whichever is close to you). They ship the passport right away to the Canadian High Commission, New Delhi. From there its upto them.

My wife submitted her passport on 16th April and she also got the passport collection email today. So I guess they did all in bulk today.
from where to collect the passport ? our passport was received at IRCC New Delhi on April 24

If ur file is transferred from CPC-M to local VO would there be any correspondance email or update for it??

Hi, I just want to thank everyone here for helping each other and answering so many questions. Its really great to see a diverse community here trying to help out others in need.
My application got approved today in about 4 months. I understand that there are many fellow applicants who are eagerly waiting to get the process completed so that they can reunite with their loved ones. I know exactly how it feels to stay far from who we love. In last 8 years, I have visited my wife (then girlfriend) for only 3 times.
I never expected it to get approved so quickly. Funny thing is that my wife can't even come to Canada until end of September as she is under a contract which she doesn't want to break. She wants to resign on good terms.
So even though our application is approved and my wife has her COPR in her hands, she wont be here until September.

I really wish everyone all the best and I hope you all get the process completed asap. I might not follow the forum actively anymore, but please feel free to tag me or message me directly if there is anything I can help with.

Thanks again. And sorry for the long post.
You have been a good partner in this journey. May this be full of happy memories for you always!

It's frustrating as hell that some people complete the entire process in 4 to 6 months and others 2 times as long. And calling immigration for a response to that concern is a complete waste of time. This process is unfair to be honest.

You bet it is!! Welcome to the "hurry up and wait club"! Put your feet up and grab a beer cause it isn't going to get any faster worrying about it. :(

Hi Everyone,

I have a serious issue which i have noticed right now.
I got request for ADR where in they have asked for some address entries missing from Schedule A Online which i have updated now.
However i noticed that in one another section mistakenly i have not checked/ ticked where they have asked if any visa rejected of any country. I missed it initially.
Now i have noticed when i received it that it should be yes(ticked) and the explanation is "Tourist visa rejected on grounds of no strong ties with the home country".

I am really worried now that shall i update this section which i missed in the first place.
I really dont know if they will think i intentionally kept it from them and now putting with some intentions behind.

Please suggest what should i do.

Your advise will help me make a decision here.
Thank you

Firstly rejection of visit visa has nothing to do with Spousal application ..
secondly you can write an explanation letter to case officer which should be convincing about missing that section unintentionally.. m sure they will consider it.

All the best
