Hi everyone . I put In a application to sponsor my husband in January. They just uploaded yesterday his medical was passed . They requested biometrics payment a few weeks ago and we payed it and it was uploaded to our account March 29/19. Now we are waiting for the email/appointment for the biometrics. Anyone know how long it generally take to receive the email for biometrics after you pay the fee ??

We paid for our fees on March 5th, got a receipt confirmation from them on March 12th, and we finally got our request for biometrics yesterday (a month later).

Its been two weeks after medicals passed, still no news on file movement. I was hoping to hear this week, but still no news.

Ours took 17 days after the medical exam date to update

Biometrics Request: Waiting
AoR 2: Waiting

Principal applicant has Tanzanian nationality but lives in India on OCI.

Is there anyone else waiting for their biometrics who got transferred to CPC-M on March 8th?

What other documents you provided with initial application?

I gave them Maximum of 20 photos as instructed that were taken at different places and time (including wedding photos) as well as proof of communication (max 20 pages) that covers the time of our relationship. I need to send new pictures and other proof aside from the original that I sent together with the application right?

I see some of the applicants are being requested to submit more documents. Lets see if they ask me anything. I mostly submitted everything with the original application:
- Birth certificate along with grade 10th marksheet
- Wedding, honeymoon pictures
- Pictures from our school days (we were childhood friends)
- My boarding passes whenever I visited my spouse
- Couple of letters from our best friends
- Beneficiary proof on life insurance

I hope this much will be enough for them. Lets see, fingers crossed.

I would do all new text, calls, video chat logs , emails , photos . Absolutely anything else . Date , time, place and what you were doing on the back of photos . possibly write a letter and attach explain why you don’t have more assets.

No need to worry, it’s actually a good sign that they’re asking for further details/evidences because that would mean that they’re really looking into your application. Agree on the post below that you may want to vividly explain each photo or have an addtl description to support your case. Best of luck!
