70 days since my application been received and I haven't heard anything from them.
No AOR, no file no ecas, can't link file either.
I call them but all they say is someone is working on it, I just have to be patient.
I honestly feel like they have lost my application or just forgot about it completely.
So annoyed!
Can understand your hopeless and helpIessnes. I feel this forum has increased anxiety in people for the obvious reason(other people from same time frame has got this, why haven’t I?)
Yes there are flaws in the processing system but negative thoughts are not gonna help anyway. I know I could be in your shoes too so that’s why preparing myself. I know it’s not very helpful but there is hope.
If I’m correct Somebody named @patelboss didn’t receive anything for the longest time and then bam received everything on one single day.

One of the screenshots from the notes ;) Applicant's from India will understand this ;)

It's actually 70-80 page presentation for India and Afghanistan spousal applicants processed at NDVO, will try to find a way. Let me know if someone knows how it could be shared.
Yeah would love to know about the process. May be upload to drive and share a link.

Just wanna shed some light. Somebody before pointed out a case where couple met a day before marriage and got approved. Well that’s culture of India. Most of the time your partner is found by the help of your parents (especially if you belong to rural part of the country where arrange marriage is practised a lot)according to Indian culture it’s not just reunions of 2 souls but 2 families and it’s ok if bride groom has never met each other and meet just before marriage. And immigration is aware of these cultural norms and they take into account and has no issue with it. But people have taken advantage of these cultural norms at the same time to prove their case genuine.

I agree! Some people from India get interviewed for the exact same reason as mentioned in their GCMS notes together. I guess multiple factors play a role if they are okay with such situations or not.

Google drive sharing link would do

Do I need to give permissions if I share via Google Drive? Let me know, I have this at my work computer at will upload this document from work tomorrow morning.
You can change sharing option to "anyone who has link" then you don't have to worry about giving permission to everyone

I believe his application was received January 24th. I’m trying to stay positive but annoyed.

Our application got returned today for "insufficient fees" or "lack of proof of payment" - we did pay them in January - but we had no way to link them to the application at that time.

My husband created an account and paid them in full at that time.
Sponsorship fee ($75),
principal applicant processing fee ($475) and
right of permanent residence fee ($490)

When we got the first AOR - my Husband tried to link the application again but still wasn't able to. Are there any thoughts as to what proof we could provide? Credit card invoice?

Also does this mean we're back to square one when we mail it in again?

I know how this situation can make you feel. I came across this video. Do listen it to it fully if you have time. I’ve noticed about myself too that I was becoming more anxious with every passing day. Listening to stuff like this has put me into perspective and now focusing on the journey more than actual destination not just in this situation but generally in life. Hope it can help.

When you pay your fees, you get official receipt from them that you include with the application, if you didn’t sent them that receipt in timely manner online may be it occurred due to it.
Yes back to square one. No need to panic, people are getting AOR now faster than ever like 35 days. Complete it send it asap. Check if you need to update any form or sign

Hi. Can I ask a question? Does getting done with biometrics and medical has any relation with the file transfer? Does file only get transferred after we do these? I am asking as we are not finding any appointment for Biometrics for the next 10 days locally and so am afraid if this will cause delay in the file transfer or application process?

If that's the case, we will travel to another city. Looking forward to guidance from members. Thanks,
