Correct, we sent it before we got AOR with the detailed information.

I didn't pay the Biometrics fee and I called CIC shortly after I mailed the package and I was told I can send another package in the mail with the receipt or I can wait to see how the agent would handle it. But so far I haven' t seen anyone's package returned for not paying that fee.

I actually called CIC last week and was wondering if my application would be returned because the signatures were not original and they were scanned. The office said that it won't be returned because of that reason, I asked if I can send in the original forms since I have them now but she said it's too risky since one is ahead in the queue and in case if they send the document back for any other reasons the second document would be just floating around. I think you were lucky and it turned out fine but the officers don't suggest it

Hey, It is mentioned in the application package, that they accept photocopy of the signature however, if required they may ask applicant to provide the original. So I don't think you need to worry as long as signature was there in original or copy of it.

Yea that was the basis we decided to send photocopies of signature, but you know how it is we all tend to think the worst before getting AOR. ;)

quiet day for us. looks like the officer who is issuing our AOR is on holiday. lol

We call him Gary over in the Nov/December thread :p We think he takes long vacations and then returns and hits a button that releases batches of AORs, Medical requests and such. :D

Agreed!
Well public employees! Gary must be sipping on his double double instead of working, releasing AORs.

He’s the gift that keeps on giving. He released a mass of medicals on the 19th of Feb, followed by the CPC-M transfers on the 27th. He’s not a bad bloke, he’s just a bit lazy
