I just tried to check in the ECAS too, and nothing was shown. So, with the use of the agent, there’s no way for me to check my application status except calling the CIC call Centre?

Your rep must have provided his/her email (could be) so all updates go directly to him/her. If you think he/she is not reliable, there should be a way to remove them and get full control of your application. You can always call CIC for such advise.

Not sure if it's rep's job to link your file to the gckey for clients, but mine linked it for me (he set up a gckey account for me before our application and we are sharing login information), and I am now able to access there.

Tbh there's nothing much shown on gckey portal it's more like a nice thing to have but it doesn't do or show anything.

I am assuming they want the medical done on my husband fairly fast. He does have Bipolar disorder, so I'm sure that is a factor.

Don't worry too much, as long as the treatment is not too costly ($19,965+), they can not use this to work against you.

Everybody who has received SA, AOR1, Medical request, Biometric Fee request or request to do it, do you all have the Background Check row in MYCIC/GCKey account as "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information" ???

I only have aor1 and my bgc is in process

Congrats!! Where and how did you get updates from medical exam? Im still waiting for my results to be uploaded to the system lol. Yes the nurse said they are still processing results lol

He is a veteran and the VA in the USA covers his perscriptions anyways.

Once the application becomes active, both Client ID of sponsor or the applicant if known works along with the receipt number. Clients usually get to know updates from us and rarely check Ecas as not everyone is aware of it.

I cannot get through with my (sponsors info) on ecas, only with PA. Sometimes it's like that for a bit, and eventually changes

Some people received it a little late. on what day did they receive your file, you mentioned you sent/submitted it on Jan 3. The received date is important to know.

Just went to the agency. Really bad news. They haven’t sent our application last january 7. That’s why the rep can’t provide me received date cause she did not sent it. She just sent my application last March 7. This is really heart breaking going to sue them and demand for refund. It’s not easy to just wait for nothing.

Man that must be frustrating. Sue their ass until they refund every penny to you. Report them to cic if needed
