Hi thanks for your reply! I did check the country specific and when i opened the latest checklist version 12-2018 it does specify the biometric fee on Application fee section. But, at that time we prepared our application, this is not included on the checklist.

Last I checked the version was June 2018. Has it been updated? Can you send the link to the new checklist if it has changed?

No issue at all. Visa office will request for it after the application has been submitted. You will need the request letter to complete the biometrics accordingly. if applicant inside the canada. I think he/she need to go back to their country to give biometrics. Very less chance to give request for biometric if applicant inside canada because no department to take biometric here in canada. will soon open then everyone must have biometrics. but if you are out of canada you must visit VFS office to give biometric

Yes same with you I used 06-2018 version which is the available form at that time

Waiting for aor. Only worry we have is that the birth certificate for wife is bit beaten up from sides. Example “place of birth” is read as “ace of birth”. Hopefull this shouldn’t be a problem.

I tried uci and receipt number on ecas to check status but it always shows not found. I also tried my uci and details but still says not found.

As far as I know, you need to get an AOR before you can attach your application to your online account. I might be wrong but this seems to be the trend
