Me too , I’m also waiting for biometric request and AOR2 . Checking my email constantly really hoping to hear something this week
I do the same thing. Even checking ECAS and MyCIC daily. Crazy, we are only separated by 2 days regarding when we took the med exam and when it was passed. I submitted the receipt for biometrics in the application when it was sent out. I have no idea why it's taking so long. I'm sorry you are eagerly waiting too but at least we are pretty much waiting for the same stuff and around the same time, so neither of us are waiting alone in that retrospect.
I don't know anything about India but you seem to be close to your PPR. Have you tried calling them?
Yes, we first applied in September and waited 3 months and they sent our application back because I missed one translation for a birth certificate. I almost went insane to wait so long and get it back after the work I put into it . But I got the translation and resubmit it that week. When I first submitted the application biometrics was not a requirement, so that’s why we didn’t pay it until they requested it after resubmitting in January and I found out it is now a requirement.
I hope you get good news soon too ! I feel your pain it sucks, but let’s stay positive and hope for the best !!! I am hoping this summer for COPR
I go by what is being announced in here and looking at the spreadsheet from this month and pasts. How do you come to that conclusion? I don't think that's true at all. I haven't progressed. Many applicants whose apps were received after mine, including those from the US in this month, Feb and March have been sent both med and biometric request. I have but I stopped in early April when I found out my med passed because I heard that when you call it gets documented on the account. I had called a lot in March because we disassociated from our rep and they still had his info on file and I needed to make sure I had not been sent biometrics yet and I hadn't.
Count me in. Waiting for my biometric request and checking regularly. Hate to say it, but I think our letters are scheduled to be sent almost a month from the time our biometric fee receipt were forwarded to the 'responsible office'.
Oh damn. That really sucks. Trust me I get it. Remembering 10 years worth of life and what exactly I was doing. I can barely remember what I did yesterday. Yeah I found that out near the end of December about the biometric change which I thought was weird. It really does. I've been together with my husband for 4 years, this fall married for 2, and I would like to be able to see him everyday. I am trying to be positive. I have a lot going on with work and school so I keep busy that way but that would be great if we could get it this summer. Well for one you are in CPC-M already, better that than a local VO.
Is your background check complete? Maybe they are waiting on that before they give you the biometrics? I don't think it has anything to do where you are from. Your VO might just be lazy
So basically when someone starts working on our apps? Just crazy because my app was received Jan 11 and then transferred to CPC-M March 19.
I found out it was in process by the IRCC automated system in early March when I called. And then when I was able to link my app to MyCIC, it states that it's in process. But that's so weird when other applicants (this month, Feb and March) were being sent biometrics and med a day or two after they got SA and not transferred yet or BGC started. how did you send your additional documents? I sent thru Canada post and haven't got any response yet ? its been a week today
