No problem! The time they send out biometric request pretty random these days, no certain patterns, but sooner or later almost everyone will be requested. Find out more here:http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/biometrics.aspThanks a lot for your info. When I can expect to get the Biometrics request. Is biometrics request sent for all sponsored person or is random.
Even though I usually suggest to wait and not to call, maybe for you it's a good time to try to call them now. You've passed 60 days milestone, some Feb applicants are already getting AORs. Reading all these threads I can assume your call will totally depend on how nice/mean a person at the call centre will be. Some of them will just tell you CIC is working on October applications now, and some others will actually try to help you and provide some information.Jan 14 here. I can't even track it on ECAS. So frustrated.
I did call and lady told me there are no notes on file, it's not being returned it's still here for officer to get around to it. I mentioned about it passing 60 days and she said we are still working on Oct 12 applicants so you have to wait. I just don't know what to do.Even though I usually suggest to wait and not to call, maybe for you it's a good time to try to call them now. At least, if your application has been returned, they will probably provide this information.
@mpigeau , I'd give you same advice as well. Fingers crossed for you.
Did she confirm your application is there and they received it? If so, there's nothing to do, unfortunately. I contacted them on the 25th Jan and they were “working on October 9th applications” so they’re saying they’ve processed something like 3 days worth of applications in 48 days, and that’s not taking in to account them quoting the 9th to people before me.I did call and lady told me there are no notes on file, it's not being returned it's still here for officer to get around to it. Not yet. We have only received the request for medical. We have a “We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes” message on PA’s CIC account. Hope that helps.Did you get an biometric request ?
We haven’t had any problems with my husband’s application. But back when I was applying for PR this would happen to me every. Single. Time. It’s so frustrating! No idea what caused it to be honest.Does anyone else have to log on a million times on GCKey before they finally get signed in? It's so annoying! I'll sign in and then it will just bing me back to the Immigration and Citizenship page. Any tips?

I know I'm not being helpful saying these words, but do you guys actually remember the times how the immigration looked like 10 years ago? When the process took 3 years, and after sending your application you wouldn't hear anything for the next 2 years? That time meds request meant "Oh My God, I'm almost there, just another 8 months of waiting and it's done!" Now the times are totally different, and we're panicking after just 2 weeks of waiting.
I can just say, try to "switch off" your brain from this. Go and have a drink. Go talk to friends. Just don't think about the process. And if you do think, then think "it's one year process, and just 2 months passed. I'm moving on, I'm closer to my goal. Just need to wait". Some kind of mantra
I totally understand you and how you feel, and I'd feel exactly the same. Just don't allow this thing let you down.
I guess it’s all about Luck!!I contacted them on the 25th Jan and they were “working on October 9th applications” so they’re saying they’ve processed something like 3 days worth of applications in 48 days, and that’s not taking in to account them quoting the 9th to people before me.
If we took the 25th as the starting point, in 365 days they’ll be processing something like 1st November applicants I’m glad that’s not the reality in this situation.
