June AR here, still waiting for MR, my work permit will expire in August. My employer is having some trouble paying the compliance fee for me to be able to apply for work permit extension.

same here waiting for ppr AOR june 2019 and my work permit will expire this june.i cant apply for bridging open work permit coz my nomination has employment restriction.my employer still debating to me that they dont need to pay for compliance fee once waiting for PPR.is someone here same with my situation?is it really not allowed to apply open work permit?

Yeah, my employer also debated that I don't need compliance fee since I am LMIA exempt, and when I applied for the work permit extension at the border by flagpoling, my application was refused.

Sorry to ask what’s the compliance fee? Is the 230 dollars which owner need to pay when they renew the work permit?

EE is always fast.it took 7 to 8 months. This site is pnp papperbased aor.mr ppr.from 2019 applicant. Lets hope pnp category is on the que.
