January 2019 onwards Paper Based PR Applicants waiting for AOR/MR/PPR

Hello everyone,

I called IRCC customer service in November and was told that I passed eligibility and criminality, however, the security hasn't yet started.
My AR is December 2018 and my question is: Once I passed the eligibility that means IRCC has already determined these requirements for me:

• the ability to become economically established in Canada
• intend to reside in the province
• and other admissibility requirements (financial inadmissibility and misrepresentation)

No updates from IRCC since January 2020 when they have requested a renewed Schedule A. My medical has been expired since September 2020 and I was told that it will be either extended or re-do. Honestly, this PR application really tired me out, I can't take it out of my head. Two years of stress, anxiety, frustration and overthinking, and still counting... Sometimes I said, what if after all that time of patient and struggle, my application gets refused (sorry for the negativity).

Anyway, hope everyone in the same situation getting great news soon.

Guys I have got under onip master graduate stream pnp
1.even before applying I was in a full time job and then got permanently laidoff due to covid19 on may 2020 still didnt get any job..

As I know, your stream doesn’t require employment until PR. You are ok. Please check OINP site.

I am in the same stream, OINP International student with job offer. I also have a question that Employment is required up to DM or CoPR. You look ok because you reached DM.

1.the applicant does not intend to live in the province that has nominated them
2.the applicant is unlikely to be able to successfully establish economically in Canada
3.the applicant is participating in, or intends to participate in, a passive investment or an immigration-linked investment scheme as defined in

I am in the same stream, OINP International student with job offer. I also have a question that Employment is required up to DM or CoPR. You look ok because you reached DM.

I also have the same question as I got my DM already. So hope for the best. Let’s see what’s going to happen. Please reply us if someone have info regarding this.....

We may have to wait until CoPR. DM means approval or reject, it is not a final decision. Right?? Does not your DM have any comment of approval? We don’t know it could be approval or reject up to CoPR. Please confirm it if you received DM.

I'm in a similar boat but haven't reached DM yet. My understanding is that if IRCC's officer "substitutes" / doubts the Province' decision-making in your ability to economic establish, they will give you an opportunity to respond to their doubts. It sounds like you haven't heard anything yet, so hopefully that means the DM is positive. I haven't heard anything from IRCC for my application yet so right now I'm still job searching and hoping for the best!! The other piece to consider is the Province and whether or not they will continue to support your nomination even after your layoff - but if you've notified them and they haven't said they will withdraw your nomination, it seems like it means they will continue to support it - at least that's my sense from my application...

Just got application approved in GCKey and the COPR numbers, etc. are all showing, but no actual letters yet. Should come by mail as I had to go through the PPR process having originally applied from outland. Let you know when it comes through.
