But on the profile it says 27th August is the end date. My AOR is 27th Feb. By that, it means they are counting from AOR date unless that timer on the profile is just as pointless as its countdown.
Processing times
We process most Express Entry applications in 6 months or less, after we get your complete application.
From IRCC website, it can be from AOR

IRCC states
The Express Entry six-month processing standard begins when an application is assessed as complete and is promoted in the Global Case Management System (GCMS). It ends when Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) makes a final decision on the application.
And if you check any GCMS you will see many notes before you even read a comment of R10. So its AOR according to me.

IRCC clearly states:

Applications are assessed for completeness up front. An application found to be incomplete should be rejected as per section 10 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations, and all fees associated with the application should be refunded to the applicant.

The Express Entry six-month processing standard begins when an application is assessed as complete and is promoted in the Global Case Management System (GCMS). It ends when Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) makes a final decision on the application.

So the 6 months processing time starts from R10. This is what the regulations state.

It is law, plain and simple. Don't get fooled b incorrect information floating around, instead see the law and regulations.

You are right. That timer is useless. It counts down 6 months from the AOR date, but if your application gets delayed or stucked at some point it won’t show. It is not an actual application specific tracker.

Havent ordered the notes yet. Thinking of doing so in this week.
Thankyou
Please do, that is the perfect way to find the exact update on your application. Order on today so that it can be filed early morning tomorrow and you don't waste time. People are also reporting that after ordering one, they noticed movement in the application

Thank you all for the support and wishes you all the very best and congratulations for upcoming PPRs. Stay positive pray and good news are on the way

I have used x-ray deferer letter as well since my wife is pregnant, i want to you if your application status was changing before you did your x-ray in feb, especially the BG status because as for me, since i received biometric letter, my Background check status has not changed and other people in my timeline has there's changed to " your application is in progress" back and forth, i want to know if the x-ray that have not done is the reason my file has not been updated.
Please respond.

Thanks

I am another January AOR person. Ordered GCMS beginning of April. Even GCMS notes are delayed, have not received it yet :)

The March end and April early GCMS notes are delayed. You will get it soon. If your application is at the final stage, then you may receive PPR before the GCMS.
