did it change ever/?? - Nope, even after PPR it's showing as "In Progress" ...LOL

Congrat ! You have the opposite status from me, my BG status is "We are processing ...." since AOR and never change as well even after PPR.

By the way, may I ask if your status bar progress has changed at all at the end of your application? Or the blue bar still shows in progress of 1/3 the full bar?

It changed every month, then at 4 months it started showing 18 weeks, then counted down after everyweek. I am at 15 weeks now and the status bar is still 1/2. I believed there will be no change in CIC portal at all until the final COPR issued.

Hi there, could you please share ...how and when did you uploaded your biometrics?
Because mine shows We are processing your background information, but the biometrics has not been passed yet it still shows we don not need your fingerprints

I submitted biometrics at VFS. I dnt understand how can someone upload biometrics on their own? Also, biometrics is not compulsory for all countries. U are from which country?

I agree to it. I was analyzing my immitracker and observed that, for US applicants it generally takes 70 to 90 days for getting PPR. Whereas, for Indians, it is taking 160 to 200 or even more than 200 days on average. Two of my friends recieved PPR recently after waiting for more than 200 days, and another one is still waiting even after 200 plus days. Maybe the applications from India are too many, so this is happening. Hope, our application gets processed speedily.

Hi I'm in the same boat like you, AOR 25 Jan and MEP 05 March
BG check changed to we are processing you background check on same day 05 March
Status bar was showing for me 4 months and it changed to 18 weeks on 25 march and to 17 weeks on 26 March
Have no ghost updates and any changes to application


Also could anyone on this forum reply about the biometric.
My lawyer uploaded my biometrics after submitting my application and it shows We dont need your fingerprints in my application status right now. In what stage this gets changed??

As far as I am aware for Biometrics you need to go either (VACs) Worldwide or (ASCs) in USA and those centers update directly to CIC about your Biometrics. We don't have to upload anything in relation to Biometrics.

Mine doesn't even say we are processing. It just says we will tell you when we will start your background check.

That sounds like a quota to me, e.g. "Approve 2 appl from country X for 1 appl from country Y"

My biometrics were completed Feb 14th and haven't receieved any update or email since. Is anyone else on the same boat?

People who suffer tend to post online and stick to social media more whereas people who are through are busy packing bags .

I mean that if u browse through myimmitracker or these canadavisa forums, all youl find is that majority is stating that they are stuck .. no update since months or even year..

So don’t get misguided by looking at 2018 June July or earlier forums .. also.. dontttnink processingwill take 200 days.

It will happen soon. Good times are coming.

Mep 5th march. Got mail as acc updated the following day.
Bio 11th Jan dint get mail but profile updated the following day as completed.
Since Aor my Bacground is showing as We are process ur Bacground check will updated if need info.
Just an hour back when I opened acc it should updated and my BG changed to ur application is in process we will let u know when we start BG check.
I loggot out and logged in again it was showing submitted.
