Hi my January 2019 Familia,

Some newwwwwsssssssssssss heeeerreeee!

Finally got “READY FOR VISA” email today in the morning!!!!

Finally my file has been approved.

But a little glinch or rather confusion created by the officer.

So I got an one email saying have a new message in the account.

The letter talks about request for passport only for my wife and the deadline is 30 days from today but it has my name and UCI of my spouse.

Secondly, got another email from the officer saying :

Dear client,

You should have just received a correspondence via your online account for your spouse to send her passport for processing.

Please note that you, as the principal applicant, must be landed before your spouse can send her passport. Please take this into consideration in your planning.

Thank you,
AS25032

Now the question is as I am inland applicant they want to get my COPR done then only my spouse can submit her passport for stamping however I havent got any email or landing interview.

So I called CIC and they are saying file has been transfered from Montreal to Vancouver today so I am assuming my landing interview will come soon but she said the appointment is not available for atleast 90 DAYS.

How can I get my COPR early? As they have given only 30 days deadline for my spouse COPR but she can only do the needful post mine.

@legalfalcon @cansha @scylla @HN92 - Experts please help how to expedite my COPR!

@WunmiofLagos - YOU ARE NEXT - Trust me!

All the best rest of the guys who are waiting.

Believe me there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I hope you who are waiting will receive your PPR very soon, all my best wishes!
Congratulations :)

C

Congrats Bunny!
I'm sorry I just saw this. I have been MIA as I decided to just start living my life and forget about IRCC's shenanigans :p
I woke up to an ADR today for POF.....I guess they have remembered me now.
Congratulations again! :)
Nearly there bud.. Wish it was PPR instead of ADR, but at least you're at the front of the queue now :)

Awesome Prasad!!!

And I passed my driving test yesterday :)
Fantastic! Such good times :D

I was waiting eagerly to share my story as well here and I was assertive that day will come one day or the other.
I have read all 717 pages of this forum, follow it every day and I must say, It has helped me immensely to go through this long undetermined wait period. I have even read some pages multiple times just to understand the timelines and the processing stages but never commented here. This long journey has only taught me how to be more patient and never loose faith in god.
Sharing my timeline here and for all those waiting in this Jan 2019 forum, you are next in line for PPR!

AOR: Jan 24 2019
CoR: USA
MEDs passed: March 5 2019
Biometrics: gave fingerprints March 5th 2019, but it never changed to passed until today.
First GCMS notes: ordered May 15th 2019, received Jun 17th 2019, found out PCC was review required and AGE. Proactively submitted docs.
File was transferred from Ottawa to Montreal: March 20th 2019
File was transferred from Montreal to Edmonton: July 2 2019
Second GCMS notes: Received around August, Eligibility: rec pass, Criminality: in progress, security: not started, info sharing: in progress.
No updates, sent additional docs just to see if file moves (in desperation).
Raised webform: They sent reminder to officer
Again file transferred from Edmonton to Winnepeg: Somewhere in December 2019
First ghost update: Jan 20 2020, Medical expired and changed to " you don't need medicals"
Second ghost update: Jan 28 2020 10am: Biometrics passed
Third ghost update: Jan 28 2020 1 pm: We are reviewing medicals
Fourth Ghost update: Jan 28 2020 3pm: Medicals passed (I was certain here, some good news is to follow)
Received email 4pm: You have a message waiting in your account
logged in and saw request letter!!
I cried, I prayed, I thanked god, I hugged my friends who supported me during this difficult time and I am still in disbelief that after 369 days its finally over!!

Hi Guys

Do you have any idea about the security screening part? The agent said it is conducted by third party outside the country, does anyone know about this? the case is stuck in the SS part.
