Ditto!! A refused visa from US mentioned in LOE. GCMS notes show 'Review Required' for client information!!
Funny part is that I did get US business visa after AOR and I travel to US from Canada every month But because of the LOE the application is still stuck

the Review Required may be from a case officers who are inexperienced , thus you should not worry, many of us are in 8th month now so its not a surprise that you will also cross 8 months

I have hit the 7 months mark 10 days ago. My phone call with IRCC about a month ago was not quite fruitful. All of their answers are very ambiguous. Time to order a GCMS note.

Yea. 8 months is fine. My concern is - from the previous application who gt ppr in 8 months, their info sharing was completed in first 2-3 months itself.
If my info sharing is taking this much time, I'm afraid how long will complete application processing is going to take.

Last update I got through Ralph and gcms in July was eligiblility passed, criminality passed and security not started.

Today I got webform response which says that "Please be advised that your file is currently pending review by an Immigration Officer."

Does it mean security also now completed?

I know about criminality, eligibility and security. What is this 'info sharing'? Even in my email to ralph, I forgot to ask about info sharing.

HELP !
Just called CIC for the first time...got NO Info at all as my visa office is outside CANADA
I pleaded, but the agent dint say a word other than raise a webform and inquire...which i have already !


the call went like:
me - Good morning,im calling to get an update on my PR application
agent- asked verification questions ( application number , name,DOB , Place of Birth,verified the contact number and address) ..then informed me my application is being processed in London VO ( which i knew thanks to Mr Goodale)
me - can i please know the status of ..( before i was about to utter the 3 words -eligibility , criminality and background check) he said sorry i cant help you ..you need to contact London VO
me - can you please send a reminder or mail or inquiry to them (as we all know London VO takes months to reply)
kept trying to ask him again n again using different phrases ..but no luck
agent - apologised and we said goodbye

my question is ...only the applicants whose VO is in Canada can benefit by calling CIC ?!? im sure ive read elsewise..

or did i say something wrong ??
or did i just encounter a strict agent in my first call ?

you should call the VO or send a mail to VO, the agent cannot help , but its a good sign that its moved to the local VO

not sure on security but now an immigration officer has to review , the review from case agent is done, Order GCMS notes so that the office will get a reminder

info sharing is from one VO to other to balance the workload, so at least the file is moving, raise notes or webform so that the file is picked up

I just called CIC and unfortunately got connected to a bit abrupt agent. She asked for my application details and without taking any time gave me some shocking information. Every other time I have called, The agent takes a few mins to look into my application before giving any information.

She told me that security has not even started and takes a lot of time, and that there is a note from the officer that the timeline is postponed to October but theres no guarantee it will be done by then. She told me I can check in again in October or November.

Does anyone else think its fishy she had my application and notes from the officer pulled up so fast ? Also, do you think its ok if i call back on Friday or next week ?

you should call the VO or send a mail to VO, the agent cannot help , but its a good sign that its moved to the local VO

No, you can contact London Visa Office by simply raising its designated web form and can get update on the status of your file in around 20+ days.
