Guys i have received the PPR email...MY AOR was 16th Jan and i got the reply from Ralph's office that my criminality is in progress and nothing else yet started on 26th July. My VO is Ottawa.

Complete speculation at this point: but I think that the "eligibility not met" might be the final step before potential rejection. The "potential" part is critical because otherwise they would have sent rejection right away. I imagine in cases of misrepresentation there's no need for CIC to waste their time so they'd reject right away. But in genuine cases under this status, maybe a senior officer reviews the file with more consideration and then the status changes as has happened for some applicants.. so I think it's crucial to follow up proactively and update CIC with any documents that one might have second thoughts about. If the applicant is free of doubts, then it's more likely the reviewing officer is free of doubts

Buddy, trust me.. it’s nothing... Just call CIC.. not met has many meanings ..I personally think logically, if there was an issue, they would have contacted you by now .. if they haven’t, why assume the worse ?

Be positive and trust your application to be thorough.. i personally have no doubt for example that my application has anything missing.. but if in doubt, call CIC and the GCMS notes will shed a lot of light too

Goodale’s office and their updates are now seeming to be spurious

Thank you for your support. I'll surely try my best to get hold of IRCC next week and wait patiently for my GCMS notes which i'm expecting on Aug 22. I'll keep the forum updated if anything moves.

Sometimes you have to call a few times before you can connect to an agent. If you're unlucky it'll just disconnect you

Follow menu
Press 1-English
1-immigration,passport
1 ircc .,call will be transferred to cic
Then press 1-for checking processing
1-applicanttion
2-become pr
2-application starts with E (enter your application no followed by #
1-if confirmed
1 - enter your year of birth
1-ensure it’s correct
1- processed to status ( ignore it . My application never found )
FINALLY PRESS 0 AND TALK WITH AGENT

I talked twice to agents and both time luckily they were nice . I first talk to them generally about them/ about the day and then proceed . Call them around 6 pm IST on Tuesday. Waiting time will be 10/17 minutes. Good luck we al will be happy to hear from u

I called CIC call centre yesterday. Had to wait for 30 mins. Used Hangouts dialer. Dont forget to ask about eligibility, security, criminality and visa office.

I tried to look up for the post which you were mentioning, but couldn't find. It would be great if you can help me with finding that post. That might help me understand better. Also trying my level best to get in touch with IRCC folks. Hope all this mess clears fast & i get some peace. All this is driving me crazy.

I remember seeing such a post some 15-20 pages ago. Someone has received the same eligibility not passed comment and then a PPR after few days. I was sacred to write to Ralph Goodale after that due to nature of the contradictory information received. Hence you should get in touch with IRCC and also review all the details you sent them just to reassure yourself that all required information was provided.

I know such a message can be demoralising but you need to stay calm and do all you can in your power to know the most accurate status by using all available sources.
