(monday) nothing again on 29 so according to pattern i was hoping to get some update on monday but that's a holiday. Don't know if they actually followed some pattern or it was just a coincidence.
Thank you so much for the information, it gave me lots of strength and faith. Many thanks!Ok guys, so I'm in Canada, it's been a couple of years. Indian National , applied as FSW from Dubai. Have strong connections in Ottawa VO. (I'm sure Saurabh is reading this and knows who I am)
Their VO has inducted new COs lately. Handovers have been done and new guys have taken over the open cases. However, even though the cases were halfway thru by the previous CO, when the new CO gets a file, he's responsible for finally approving it. Hence he needs to check the previous half of the files again. Don't worry, he just verifies the supporting documents (that the previous CO attached to your file before approving a particular stage) and does not start the investigation all over again. If you look at year on year increase in the number of invitations, you will realize it's over 5%, but they had not added more COs.
If there isn't a negative communication on your application, there's nothing to worry about.
Patience, breathing, yoga, meditation is needed
Once you're here, life's tough. No maids, no-one to wash your car, no-one to cook and clean. And whenever you see airplanes, you think of your home country, your parents, siblings, friends. So enjoy all that while you can. Finding a job is tough. You might have to start from scratch so be prepared. Eventually its all super good. You love this country and you love how safe and secure you are. Education, health, old age, etc is taken care of. Better air quality, better standard of living etc. But as I said earlier, enjoy your home right now, company of your parents etc. Food, go for massages, get dental check ups, before you get your PPR.
All the best! I talk too much sometimes
Thanks for quick reply, true, I submitted my GCMS notes in May 22nd but I haven't received yet, don't know what is going on and I feel like everything has been slowing down these days. Let's hope for the best and wait patiently.I only got this information when I emailed Ralph's office. I called CIC the same day and they said eligibility 'in progress' and nothing new is required from me. Yet, I submitted the updated docs (that I had doubts about) just in case. 8 days after the email mentioning they received my webform, they sent another email about my case being 'in queue for review by an officer'. I haven't emailed Ralph again or even received my first set of GCMS notes.. Completely in the unknown here so waiting patiently
It depends. I have a friend who was rejected because he didn't upload his undergrad diploma even though he has a masters in Canada. They didn't ask him for the document, they just rejected him and told him to apply again. Good thing his work permit is still valid for a while otherwise he would have to go back to his home country and apply from there. There is no such thing as rejection. If they need more documents they will email you. Process from last year has massively slowed down so don’t worry. Call CIC and get an update too bro
Yes this was first time post 180 day completion, I hope they do something, if not we may have to call again after 2 weeks and ask them to send a reminder again. We just have to trust the agent, there is no other go.Hi, is this the first time you are calling them post 6 months anniversary? I called July 15th on my ''anniversary'' and was told a reminder would be sent.
Nothing has happened since then and i was wondering if they could send multiple reminders or it is a one-off reminder.
Personally, I would order GCMS notes every 2-3 weeks or a few days after responses to any correspondence with CICI finally got the GCMS notes that I had ordered on June 12, and according to that Eligibility and Security hasn't even started for me, and Criminality is in progress. My AOR is Jan 25. I wonder whether I should order another set of GCMS notes and if there have been any movement in my account in the 1.5 months?
Anyone else in the situation whose eligibility has not started and they have crossed the 6 month mark?
