Hey guys, I was talking to a lady on customer service to get an update on my file. I phoned them because there is test and ceremony in my city and it only occurs once a year. I discussed whole thing with a lady and she understood me and she cannot ask officer for update. She gave me a fax number to contact them. I’m wondering is it good to contact them? Or I just wait.

Could be your background checks are still in process or its just a general timeline they gave you which is 12 months processing time and you have 6 months remaining!

Thank you, Bu Ayaan for reply. Have you added my details on timeline?

GOT AN EMAIL FROM IIRC TODAY!

It was a survey about how my settlement as a permanent resident has been.

DON'T TEASE ME LIKE THAT! :(

Hello all - I wrote my citizenship test today, and got 20/20. As someone else has noted, the actual test was easier than the online practice tests. However, reading the study guide multiple times is necessary to remember all details. The interview went smoothly, I was asked about my job, my position and if I had a PCC from India since I stayed there for more than 8 months (which I did, and I'd sent with the initial application)
The agent told me that I'll get a notice to take the Oath of Citizenship in a 'couple of months'. Scarborough Office. Thanks to all of you for your support and help! Good Luck!

Hello all. I had my citizenship today. Scored 19/20. Test was easy but make sure to read the book couple of times and do online practice test. Interview lasted for 5 minutes and all I was asked to confirm was my address and work. Was told should receive an invite for oath ceremony in 1-2 months.
All the best for everyone who is waiting for the test.

Congrats! Hope my test invite is soon from Hamilton office.

Can you please confirm your total number of days again? As minimum required is 1095!
Corrected to 1095! sorry.
Btw, I applied as single.

Hi all, I took the citizenship test and interview yesterday and I got 20. Questions were easy if you read the book and practice online prep tests.

The interview was about 5 min verifying my docs. He mentioned I will be invited for auth sometime around Dec 18 to Jan
19.

I have checked my ECAS and it shows “Decision Made” today.

Wish good luck for others.

Hi,

I had my test yesterday also and now ecas shows Decision Made.
I asked if it's possible to have an urgent oath due to a booked travel plan in October and the PR renewal processing time will not make it too. Officer said there's backlog everywhere and expected oath will be in November. He said don't bother renewing PR card also.

I took my test yesterday and my ECAS status has changed to Decision Made as well. Admin could you help update in the excel? Thanks all!
