Yes if you see the spreadsheet there is one applicant who applied urgently and their application is in process now.

What does urgent processing mean?

What does urgent processing mean?

As per cic website:

To apply for urgent processing, you must be eligible to apply for citizenship and have an emergency, such as:

  • needing Canadian citizenship to:
    • apply for a job
    • avoid losing your job
    • go to a Canadian school, college or university
  • needing to travel because of death or serious illness in your family and you can’t get a passport in your current nationality
  • receiving a successful Federal Court decision on an appeal on a previous application for citizenship
Even if these conditions apply to you, we may not be able to process your request urgently. If we do process your request urgently, we may not be able to do it in time to help your situation.

Hi, I am going to apply for my mom citizenship and have a question. My mom visited back home 3-4 times during last 5 years and her total back home stay is more than six months. I was told that she would need a police clearance certificate from back home as she has spent more than six months? Does any one know if she really needs a police clearance certificate for citizenship application. Thanks for help in advance.

If she has visited back home she has to provide police report if for any reason she cant you have to write an explaination. Reading from the forum most applicants have to provide the police certificate.

Hi,
I am about to submit our application but just notice on my kid's application (under 18) this required document:

Proof of guardianship (if applicable)
  • a legal guardian applying on behalf of the child must provide legal documentation proving guardianship
Format: Clear and legible photocopy

Can someone advise what we need to provide? written letter?form?...etc

Thanks in advance

I was surprised too. I can't believe the IRCC don't know the parents of a PR child.

I provided the birth certificate (translated in my case) of my child, which contains both parents.

Thanks Khalid for your reply.
Do you think it is accepted?

A parent is considered the guardian for their minor child. The birth certificate showing parentage is sufficient evidence.

If you are a parent this will not apply to you. This is for guardians applying for minors
