I am applying for Canadian citizenship. I have fulfilled the 1095 days required during the eligibility period. What I am confused about is the question 9c and 10a. I have made multiple trips to India and US during the eligibility period. I have included all the trips in the physical presence calculation. However, question 9c asks whether I have lived outside of Canada during the eligibility period. I have always resided in Canada but made numerous trips outside. I have been in India for over 183 days (have police clearance) in the egilibity period and under 183 days in US. Should I answer yes or no to question 9c.
Question 10a asks for addresses inside or outside of Canada. I have included addresses for trips where I have been outside for over 15days. Do I need to include addresses for trips for much smaller trips (2-3 days) even if I stayed in a hotel?
9c - "Yes" & provide PCC for countries that u stayed over 183 days.
10a - If u stayed in hotels for couple days then NO u don't need to provide addresses for hotels. Coz you were on vacation while u still are residing at ur home (technically). So NO u do not need to provide that info.
But, I would recommend to out that info in the physical presence calculator coz u have to provide those dates any ways... so just add that info in the description for those absent dates.
DO NOT forget to mention each and every date u stayed out side Canada. They will have records at CBSA. so make sure u include even a single day u stayed out side Canada.
For example:
I landed into Canada by Flag Posting at Niagara falls which technically isn't spending day outside Canada. However, the fact that I left Canadian border. I mentioned that in physical presence calculator. But, NO I didn't mentioned that in question 10a.
