I wrote my test yesterday and had interview as well. I got all 20 questions correct. My advice to read through the Discover Canada Book. Downloading the MP3 file and playing it my car while driving really helped me. Interview went well as well. The officer mentioned that the Oath Ceremony will happen sometime in late December or early January. Test took about 10 minutes and Interview about 3 minutes.

I am not sure what is happening with application currently with Hamilton, ON ..is any one from Hamilton facing the same delay?. Mine is waiting from June where else other places are quite faster ....

I am Jan applicant and haven't got a test invite till now from Hamilton office. IP since March.

You are not even January applicant . your application was received on Fen 14th. Not even 9 months yet. Normal processing time is 1 year.

Should not matter, there are people from Hamilton who applied in Feb infact after my timeline and they are at Decision made !! not me ..

There is something definitely wrong here .. I am planning to meet my Local MP to speed the application .. any suggestions from anyone?? .. I have to travel Early next year hence the urgency ...

You'll be fine dude! Good luck with your application. Yeah, meet with your MP, but they won't do much. Just make a reverse calendar and worry less.

Became a Canadian Citizen yesterday; the oath Ceremony was very straight forward.
I wish to thank everyone for all the support that we provide ourselves in this forum, some of us made it through the wait because of that. And thanks to the Liberal Party of Canada, if it were the Conservatives, most of us would have been eligible to apply by next year lol. The Liberals have my support in next year's election.

Don't also forget that the Bill that the Liberals passed last year eliminated the Harper second class citizen stigma that was hanging over the head of every dual citizen in this country. If most have, I still have not forgotten; that is why I am grateful to the Liberal Party of Canada.
