Hello Samshar,
Regarding the comment about additional documents being uploaded. Just a thought but did you after uploading then go on to sign and transmit to the IRCC? I've seen comments on other threads about missing the "next" button after uploading. I would certainly request notes at this time. All the best!

Yea I have signed and transmitted. I will request notes now I guess, thanks for your reply.

Does anyone know if while your application is still being processed, if the applicant goes on a 2 or 3 week vacation outside of his home country, does he have to let IRCC or the Visa Office know? (We applied outland and partner lives outside of Canada).

Thanx for the reply
I want to know also in additional family information form for spousal sponsorship need only the sign of principal applicant or all others family members sign because document checklist updated last june 2017 and there is a form in which they mentioned on family information form singn of principla applicant and all family members. So i am confused about it.

Does it say in your GCMS notes that none of the security, criminality and eligibility reviews have started? Mine said that too, except for criminality, which was in progress (they received my app Jan 25). However, I read somewhere that even if it doesn't say it has started, they may well have started to look into it.

What does your GCKey account say? Does it say that eligibility and background check are in progress? If so, it is a good sign and for a lot of people, after background check is in progress, they often get DM 2 to 3 months after. Also when does your medical expire? They automatically renewed my partner's in May, which expired on July 30, 2017 (he's got not health issues) and it's now good until May 2018.
We r still waiting for medical request!!! Nothing started yet

I found out that they renewed my partner's medicals through GCMS notes we ordered in June. They did not notify us that they extended the validity of the results until May 2018. I would say that if the results are going to expire in the next month, call IRCC. They should be able to tell you if your spouse has to redo the medical exam.

Quick question for you regarding your medicals. How long of an extension did they give you once your medicals expired?

We asked for extensions and I know they extended it in June 2017. But they didnt say how long.

They extended my partner's medicals for 1 year. On our GCMS notes, the date they processed the extension was May 18, 2017 and the new validity date for the medical exam was May 18, 2018. My partner's medicals expired on July 30, 2017.

I read in other posts that others were also given a 1 year extension (from the date they applied the extension), usually.
