Yessss! The tracking number for our return envelope to receive COPR was activated about 30 minutes ago. We received the Ready for Visa email on May 10th, sent our final documents on Friday May19th, they were received by CIC on Wednesday May 24th. My spouse should receive the COPR by early next week so it's almost a 4 week process. If we were ready on may 10th, we would probably have it by now. Second last step! We are probably going to book a flight for June 12th. It's the final countdown!

Decision made this morning! US applicant processed in Ottawa. App received Jan 31st. Sent PCC, schedule A, and medicals upfront. Only request I got was for details of military service on March 10. Background in process for 6 weeks. 4 months from receipt of app to decision made. That was pretty fast although it felt like forever! Best of luck to everyone still waiting!

I am a January applicant waiting to hear from Manila office as well. Am expecting to hear something in Sept/Oct.

Thanks

Hello everyone just thought to share my application it might comfort someome. Im a January applicant. SA in January and Aor2 in february. Medical request early Aprial. Decision made june 1st. Request for passport june 2nd. Pretoria visa office. Good luck everyone

My status on ECAS also changed to "Decision Made" yesterday!!

Here is my rough timeline. I used the new application forms, did not send medical/schedule A/police certificate upfront, and also had to submit for a CSQ from Quebec's MIDI.

  • Application Received - 01/06/2017
  • AOR1 - 01/24/2017
  • Request for Schedule A/Police Records - 01/24/2017
  • Schedule A/Police Records Sent - 02/04/2017
  • Sponsorship Approval - 01/31/2017
  • Application Forwarded to Ottawa VO - 02/17/2017
  • ECAS Status "In Process" - 02/17/2017 ??
  • CSQ Application Received - 02/17/2017
  • CSQ AOR - 02/27/2017
  • Request for Medical Exam - 03/23/2017
  • Received Request for CSQ from Ottawa VO - 03/27/2017 (I found this unusual, since MIDI told us that all VO were aware of the current delay and knew that our CSQ application was being processed)
  • Received Second Message from Mississauga Notifying that Application Forwarded to Ottawa VO - 04/03/2017 (Also unusual?)
  • Received CSQ - 04/04/2017 (Date on the document: 03/30/2017)
  • Completed Medical Exam - 04/11/2017
  • Medical Exam Passed - 05/05/2017
  • ECAS Status "Decision Made" - 06/02/2017
Since May, there had been no other changes or messages: my account still says they're reviewing my eligibility, processing the background check, etc. The only change was in ECAS (looking up under both my (PA) and my husband's (Sponsor) information).

I got my sponsership approval in 7th March 2017. They emailed me in 26 th May that I should link my account to myCIC. They just send me email alert that i have a new massage in my GCKey. At there they send request for Schedule A and PCC in 29 th May. And I upload the documents in 31 st May .

Yeah.. it's ok now I think. My husband who's in Canada called the IRCC..after how many days have passed trying to reach them, finally, the call went through. SO he have spoke with and agent and relayed all the concerns that we're facing, the reason why we havent received any request because we linked our account May 14 and they have sent the request to send Schedule A background on May 13, it seems like it's kinda weird coz how can they send the request if we havent link our account yet??, anyway so the agent instructed my husband to have the form uploaded on IRCC webform and so that's what I did.I just hope everything will be okay.
