I thought maybe we'd finally have word about the final decision today and still nothing. I really hope they don't keep us waiting for another freakin' month. Ugh. :

ECAS was updated today from "In process" to "Decision made" under PR application status!

We sent in our application on January 12th so the total number of days we have waited so far is 114. I'm guessing it will be a month or so before we receive the COPR.

I have updated our entry in the spreadsheet.

one question .. if the VO send a medical req ..will it show in the ecas too that they have sent correspondence or it will just be in mycic ? worried because haven't got the med req yet and mycic is not showing anything other then the general definition ..

We sent our medicals up front so I don't have first hand experience with this, however I can say that every time there was an important update or request for information, we both received emails. I would expect that if you registered to receive email correspondence, you will get an email. Again, this isn't first hand knowledge. Looking at the spreadsheet, the majority of people have done them up front so hopefully someone who did not do them up front will respond

Finally some movement on the case. On Thursday, we got a message in CGKey account asking for the PA to get a RCMP Criminal Background check. My spouse visited Canada multiple times over the years probably thats the reason they have requested it. The only issue is that were in US and will have to get it done from here. Any suggestions or recommendations are welcome.

Thanks. It looks like we will have contact accredited partner of RCMP in Canada to help us get it done. Hopefully, it will not take that long.

We're at seven weeks on our background check. Still waiting ...

At least it's changed for you guys. Ours still says "next step is background check" so they, apparently, haven't started it yet.
Getting nervous since its said that for about 6 weeks now.

In mycic Background check changed to "we are processing your background check". I think it happened at the same time we got the request for RCMP criminal record check.

Just received the request for passport (in our case, photos) to finalize the process. Tried to update the spreadsheet, but it's view only
