Hi all, good to be to read the stories of wonderful people all chasing one goal ''to unite with their loved ones''. Same reason I'm here and strongly believe by the Grace of God we all shall get positive news from cic these year based on their new processing timeline. I get a lot of help from this forum when I was filling my forms along side my wife, I would have done lots of mistakes if not for help from here. Definitely I owe this forum a lot, wish I can tell each one of you a special thank you individually. I sincerely appreciate. My application was received January 25th 2017, AOR Feb 19th, March 2nd SA and file transfer to Accra visa office, started processing my application March 16th. So those are my timeline so far. But we have a little challenge, at the beginning we were able to pay only the application fee of 550, now we want to pay the RPRF after logging in to cic site and heading straight to pay fees, at the fee log, there was no option of paying 490, what we found was 550 and the full payment of a thousand plus, now this got us confused because we want to pay that asap so we don't use the money for some other things. Anyone in this same situation or who have dealt with such situation in the past should come to our rescue.
Thank you all and hope pray for a successful new week for everyone.

Oh my goodness!! How frustrating! I am trying to do the same thing and it looks as though they have chhanged things again without any forewarning. Looks like we'll have to wait until we are approved before it can get paid. :(

Did you see my response above with directions for accessing the permanent resident fee link? We paid ours after the file transfer with no problem.

We got our PPR!
We have to forward the required documents to Paris!
I'm pretty surprised how fast this was!

Currently., they're working on Sep applicants 2016 - I think we will get the response back from them in June /July -

Did you submit your medicals ? or waiting for it

Hello Everyone,

Today we got AOR2 from SGVO. Our application was received on 31st January 2017. We got AOR1 on 18th February and SA on 17 March. Wish for a quicker process of everyone's file. Can't we expect the further response I mean PPR, by last of May?

Enter your country. Select 'permanent residence'. Select 'right of permanent residence fee - not express entry'. Click 'get payment instructions' and there it is!

Wow, you were really God sent. These particular thing has kept me and my wife restless for the past couple of days. We even gave up because we thought cic changed the process and we were afraid of spending the money for some other things. Thank you very much, I remain ever grateful ...

Congratulations!

I received mine as they require only a picture of the Passport (i'm a french citizen and we french are waived from visa for visiting Canada), 2 5cmx7cm ID photos, and a letter stating height and eye colors, all including the first page of the PPR letter.

I already sent mine yesterday through Registered mail with Acknowledgement of Receipt (lettre Recommandée AR). My mail has already been delivered today as i can track it.

Hopefully it won't take a long time for COPR.

So I know a couple of us are in the same boat where we got AOR and SA, however ECAS still says application received. There has been no confirmation of the app being transferred to the VO.
When I emailed CPC Ottawa, they said "your application is not being processed here." Which, to me, means it hasn't been transferred yet. It's been about a month since SA and I thought it was being transferred right away. Should I just be patient and wait? Or give them a call?

I'm always happy to help if I can. We had trouble finding it, too.

Thanks
