On my wifes Medicals it says she was diagnosed with Anxiety and BPD and on thr schedule A they want to know if she's ever had any serious mental or physical illness. Do we click yes?

When do they ask to submit medical? I mean at which stage like after AOR1 or AOR2? My husband will be visiting India in March and planning to get medical done. I was thinking if we get application number i.e. AOR1, is it advisable to go for medical based on that number? Or should we wait until they ask to submit?

Hello Guys, How i Can print our conversation from Skype? Do we have to screen shot?

I would say yes. And in explanation maybe say "Anxiety and BPD controlled by medication - (list medication)". Did they send her for a psychiatrist eval and report? If not, IRCC will probably request one.

Well on her medical exam the doctor said stable/no meds further required because it really only affected her when she was younger. So we just wrote that.

Also it says her medicals were already passed. I'm hoping it's not going to be an issue.

If it already says medical exam passed then this shouldn't be a concern right? They definitely didn't request for her to get a Psyc Eval.

So I called CIC and they told me I can't even link the account until I get SA. I wish I knew that before, lol! Wouldn't have wasted so much of my time over it then! ::)

That's not even an accurate statement, unless they've drastically changed something. I linked well before I had SA.

The phone support people don't always give correct answers.

I agree with you Dana. When I received AOR1 my wife received an email from CIC within 1 minute asking her to link her application within 7 days. I don't have SA approval yet so I'm assuming it's 7 days from AOR1. Seems unfortunate to get misleading info from phone support but oh well. :)

I was able to link a week almost a week before AOR1 even when I did it back in October. I admit I haven't been paying the closest attentions to how fast people are linking these days, but I thought people were still successfully linking using the options that don't involve the application number or UCIs prior to getting AOR1.

We were just able to link after we received AOR1 after we used the application number/Last name fields.

We tried linking prior to AOR1 using the Family name/Given Name/Date of Birth method but were not able to .

Well, those phone people are no help then, I guess! *gets back to trying to link*

Hi,

My sponsorship application in ECAS has been updated to Decision made on 23rd February, 2017 but I did not receive any email after that.

I applied with old application package. The PR Application Status is showing "Application Received" as before.

I am really worried now, is this normal? I am a Canadian PR applying for my spouse who lives outside of Canada.

Just wanted to add one more fact, I linked the PR Application today with MyCIC account, and it is showing the following information,

Application Status: Open
Eligibility Review: In Progress
Medical Results: Passed

Thanks for the help!
