I have not been checking ECAS each day (I've checked the other site where I linked the application, thinking that is updated more often) and noticed today that under "sponsorship application status" it changed to "decision made" and "permanent resident application status" changed to "in process." I haven't received an email since AOR1 last week. Does this mean I've received SA? When will I get the email? AOR1 came on a Saturday so hopefully SA does too

Yeah this sounds like SA if it shows DM. Your sponsor should get the e-mail confirmations (at least mine did). Congrats! Now you wait...

Quick question!

I've successfully Linked my wife's app using her GCKey account. However I can't seem to find the application in Ecas. Is there a reason why I can see it on MyCIC but not Ecas?

Are you using the application number? I can look mine up just fine with my sponsor or PA last name/DOB and application number in ECAS...I think the UCI may be different for the PR and Sponsor so use the application #

Hey Guys,

One quick question
While filling the Supplementary Travel info form.. Principal applicant (my wife) need to fill out travels both for herself and her spouse (sponsor - that's me) for last 10 years
Now, I moved to canada in 2015. Does she need to mention that too?

I'm the sponsor. Got the email confirming SA shortly after posting! It also said that our application has been transferred to the visa office in Nairobi. Fingers crossed for not too long a wait

I finally got it today. I think there's just a delay once they recieve it.

My wife, who is the sponsor, also got an email from CIC saying that my application has been transferred to visa office Unspecified. Wonder in which country that VO is

JenTex, what information did you use? I assume you went the "Family Name, Given Name and Date of Birth" route

* Did you include a middle name with your given name?
* Did you enter your actual City of birth or just a space?
* Marrital status = married?
* Number of family members = 2? or 1?

Just tried mine with several combinations of the above, still no luck but will try again next week haha

I would call CIC if I were you. They received my app on Jan 25 and I have not heard anything either and can't link my application nor check through ECAS.

I am sponsoring my common-law spouse from Chile.

Hope we both hear something soon!

My wife also got SA yesterday. App. received Jan 19th. But the letter did not mention anything about file been transferred to a V.O
