People,

The email says: "Link your application within seven calendar days from the day you receive this letter for faster processing times."
What happens if you don't manage/haven't been able to link it within 7 days? I'm starting to wonder if I should call them...

Hi oneesaenv, yes they told us that they hand it to Canada Post. Canada Post told me they are not able to trace packages that arrive from outside of Canada. They told us we can make a "lost mail" claim fairly soon, but the investigation takes months. I tried linking my application each day with no luck. I wish there was a way to find out if CIC has it, at least then I could just sit tight and wait without wondering when to re-send a new application.

Do you have your receipt for your fees? Just use that number, that's what I did. I hope you hear something soon, I can't imagine what you must be going through. Good luck!

That's horrible! The wait is so difficult at times. I hope you hear from them soon! Maybe you'll be one of those lucky people that just straight up get SA, lol!

Yes, the waiting is difficult for sure! I think the Universe feels I could use a lesson in patience and that has never been my strong suit.

Yo guys what's wrong with the spreadsheet :o?

someone screwed it up i guess. And to be honest it started pretty nice, with a clear graph and quiet simple. Then all kinds of stuff, coloumns, rows and colors were added. Looks too sloppy, I gave up using it. Keeping all the info organized is hard, I understand. But this spreadsheet in its current form is overwhelming and useless

Im sharing my experience. Someone may find it helpful. We received aor1 on Feb.7. Wasn't able to link till today when I used "application number and family name" instead of UCI and Application number. Also skipped the City of birth like it was suggested before (1 spacebar). Worked on the first attempt.

Now the question guys, as soon as I linked we got an email requesting us to upload Schedule A. When I was uploading it, i also noticed police certificates row to be available to upload even though they were provided upfront (might have expired by now?). It says "replacement needed" and date "March 12, 2017" next to the upload button. Im questioning if we should get new ones and upload or wait and see? I find it weird nothing was mentioned in the email for the additional documents. Im getting confused with their web page, not the crispiest government website out there

Start using my application tracking system... ;)

I will be adding graphs and such eventually, but not right away. It takes the raw data and lets you filter it, so...

If you want to try it: https://immigration.dansheps.com/index?sent=2017-01-01 will populate the "sent" starting date filter (it will effectively show Jan + Feb, plan to change it to do a "month" filter but haven't yet)

Hello all,
Nothing have changed since my last update (SA since February 1, 2017) and where they said they will send my application to the Paris Visa office.

My ecas still says "Application Received". I hope i've got nothing to worry about...

I have a secret hope of getting my PR before may/june, as i plan to visit my family in law in july/august...

my application was received the 11th of January as per Canada post, and i have yet to receive a single words, it has been 33 days and i think i am going to loose my mind, i dont know what to do, the application wont link, i havent received an email, nothing.

What do the color codes even mean? I read earlier the document was messed up. Is it correct now?

Yeah the red is so horrible. The document needs to have a password and be monitored and edited only by an admin. Leaving it open for public edit is a bad idea, as we can see. Whoever wants to add info should post it here and then the admin can make the necessary changes.

This is great information. Thanks to everyone who contributed.
