They received our application on the 5th of January, but they didn't start processing my sponsorship application until the 16th. I'm probably making myself crazy for no reason. I'm good at that. :-X

I'd imagine as long as you received your AOR1 they'll get your SA completed any day now. Ours was completed back on the 26th, forwarded to Ottawa and the PR is processing as of January 28th. Are you able to link your application at all? Did you check both of these links?

I can check both Sponsor and PA on the first link, the second is just the PR, but more detailed. Did you have to upload your Schedule A yet? They requested that as soon as I logged in and was able to link my application. We used the new forms.

We used the old kit and sent it in the end of December. Everything that was necessary was sent upfront. Nothing has changed on e-CAS or with the linked app. It would be nice to hear something so that I can stop worrying about it.

I was able to link my application on the 19th jan and i got akcnowlegment email on the 20th of jan asking me to link my application...then on the 23rd jan i got AOR email. Till now no updated still everything in process and application recieved

Medical passed...thats it ...
I dont see any PCC and Scheducle A request yet ??? Is that normal???

Got an update today! About 11:15 this morning we got the Acknowledgement of Receipt email (Yeah! On a Saturday!)

Message requesting 5669 upload - we provided it hard copy upfront so I'm guessing the message is automatic. We submitted via IRCC webform anyway.

Got some great news yesterday, AOR1 email received (stating a date of January 17th for some reason) and application linked successfully. Feels like it's really happening now!

They did say I was missing my IMM 5669 .. but I submitted it for my wife (applicant). Under the newer application package, does another one also have to be submitted for me?

The IMM 5669 was not supposed to be submitted in paper form with the application. Based on the way they first had the package and forms listed on the site, I think a lot of people were confused with that. If you look now, it no longer has a direct link to that particular form, and you have to jump through a few link hoops to get to the copy that you're supposed to upload electronically, validated. So your wife needs to do that again, and upload it.

Hi everyone,

I am joining this thread as a January applicant.
Congratulations to all of you that got news from their application so far.
My Application was sent on the 11th (Canada Post), still no email, still can't link it on myCIC.
The patience game is hard but this community make it easier.
