Dear All,

I have 2 questions, Appreciate your reply for the same.

My husband is Canadian and he is sponsoring me. Me being principal applicant requested for the Police Certificate and Medical Reports later upon requested by the CIC. Now my question is the new forms says please provide the birth certificates and Medicals of your self and family above 18 (accompanying and non accompanying.) Do i have to provide BCs and PCCs of my parents and siblings as well??

and i also requested in my earlier posts if anyone has submitted the Out-land application as per new changes?? pls lemme know.

Appreciate your advice.

Thanks

If it's just you coming to Canada then you'll just need your own medical and birth certificate, but you'll also need the birth certificate of your sponsor too. If you're bringing kids with you then you'll need a medical done for them and include their birth certificate. I didn't include my sponsors certificate in my application, we used a photocopy of her passport instead. As the PA you'll need both your birth certificate and passport proof in the application, and for any of your dependents (people coming with you to Canada, who are also being sponsored).

I provided my medical and police certificate up front so I can't help you as far as how long that'll take them to process.

i sent my application January 10th with no response up to now, no email or letter, tried linking my application but is still unsuccessful, does anyone know what is should do or a number i could call? please

Just wait at this point - it's only been 22 days since you sent it. If you had it delivered overnight, they've had it 21 days, anything else (3 day service, regular mail), it could be as little as ten days or two weeks. Hearing anything by now would be a very quick response.

Hi guys,

I sent my application on january 17th and they received on January 19th as per Canada Post.

I haven't received AOR1 neither by email or mail and I havn't been able to link my online either.

Is it normal that I haven't received anything yet.

Your replies are greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Im SA with no AOR 1 :)

Patience patience guys :)

I sent mine on the same day and already received mine back unprocessed (I made a mistake) so you should hear something soon.

Mine was received and signed for on Jan 23 as per Canada Post. I also haven't heard anything. I'm trying to be patient! :) I wish they could just acknowledge receipt as soon as it's arrived, even prior to checking to see if the application is complete. So much time and money is spent on our applications, and the stress of thinking it may have been lost in the shuffle is frustrating....

Joining the January Outland bandwagon. Application received on 26th January.

My application was also received on January 26th!

Just thought of updating you guys.

I was able to link my application without any errors. It was rather smooth.

Jan 19 - Application sent
Jan 24 - Application received
Feb 2 - Application linked

Will keep you all posted. And also updated the google doc.

My App was returned Yesterday for 3 reasons:

1. They are asking for imm5562 for my wife ( PA ) which applies to Afghan residents. she was born in Afghanistan, but has been living in Sweden since 2003 and she is Swedish Citizen. ( which really doesn't make sense)

2. Birth Certificate for Principal Applicant and all of her family missing.. she was born in Afghanistan where we don't have Birth Certificates

3. Marriage Certificate, we got married in Ontario.. i sent the original registration.. they refused that.. asking for marriage certificate.. :( :(

I can't speak to the other stuff, but the application checklist is pretty clear that they want the marriage certificate. Not sure what you mean by original registration.

Looking at the new application kit with its dropboxes for country-specific stuff, if I put it in as you mentioned (Sweden as the country of residence, and then including Afghanistan as another country), it doesn't show a need for IMM 5562. Interesting. And potentially problematic if their little thing isn't telling people the right things to include and then the applications are getting returned based on that. Though regardless of that form, the marriage certificate still would have been a problem.
