Application received in Mississauga on January 3rd. I was able to link it up this morning.

Did I send my application to the correct address? It said to send it to Mississauga, Ontario Station A, which I did. However, I'm seeing that it says if you're applying outland from the US it goes to CPC Ottawa? Is that where we're supposed to send it originally or does it get sent there after I'm approved as a sponsor?

Will my applicatuon be scrutinized if we don't have wedding photos? We are not traditional and couldn't afford a big wedding, plus half my family doesn't know I'm gay. So we had a private, courthouse wedding. We would like to eventuallt have a bigger, more traditional reception and ceremony in approximately 3-5 years when we can afford it and when my family is adjusted to my sexual orientation. We wanted to get married now because we love each other and we want to be together.

We explained that in our app. I'm just worried about being rejected for this.

US-Canadian couples have a relatively low burden of proof, so particularly with being a same sex couple, I really wouldn't worry about a lack of wedding photos so long as the rest of the relationship proof is there.

Hello! I've just submitted our application to sponsor my husband via Canada Post courier on Monday- should be received any day now. We used the old one. How long until I can link our paper app to an online account? Do they send you and email as soon as its receieved? And sorry, but what does AOR and ECASE stand for?
