February 9, 2017: Application received
February 10, 2017: Application Returned
February 21, 2017: He received his returned application from the mail

His application was returned because we did not notice the gap in the validity of his passport. We will be sending back his application today with a detailed letter explaining the gap (Feb 22, 2017). Hopefully, everything will be okay!

So glad I found this thread.
Btw, both of our applications were sent separately since we are not married yet.

Good luck to everyone!

Raj, if every individual's application packages IF it has its own envelope and Document Checklists or paper clip. Even though the receipt was family receipt. I will print the family receipt 3-4 copies and attached each copies to everyone.

Or just attached one that's fine. Whatever you prefer and make you feel better. Like what I kept telling you right "we have different ways on how to do it". Ignore me wherever you feel comfortable to do so.

Keep in mind always do the right thing that makes you feel without any hesitation ok. Keep up the work. Best of luck. We're all here if you need more opinions ok.

Hi All...I just have sent my application today with a buffer of 3 weeks after 1460 days. Hope everything is fine. Finger crossed. Just a request to all - if someone get your mail returned (god forbid this shouldn't happen to any of us) please share the mistakes you made or what are the additional papers IRCC asks. In this way we can help each other as well as new applicant to avoid any mistakes.

I waited 32 days so don't worry. You are still within a 'regular' time frame :)

Make that 33 days waiting!... and counting...

What do you mean by Residence questionnaire? I just sent all the docs asked in the Checklist. I didn't see any sort of this? Please be more specific.

did you get the invitation by email? or you checked your e-case and found it first ?

Ecas changed. Now I'm waiting for the physical letter from CIC. I think I should get it some time next week.

Hi all,

I wrote my exam this morning. The process was very quick and very well organized. It hardly took an hour from the time I arrived there to complete the interview.

I took my wife's landing paper by mistake but the officer was nice enough and said he already has a photocopy and it is sufficient. I was missing couple of stamps from my trips to the USA but he didn't talk about it. He said I should receive a letter to appear for the Oath Ceremony in month or two.

I believe I am the only listed on this forum out of 60 people who wrote the exam this morning as there are no other matching entires in the spreadsheet. Because of that, we are not able to realized the magnitude of applicants.
