Hello,

:D

Hi zeeAJ,

Congrats... ;)

Congrats to all AORs and IPs.

Will we have the first test invitation in January?

I am still waiting for my status to be changed to IP ::)

So far it looks like January is almost over. I hope we get a few test invites in February.

average time from IP to test invite is 30 days over the last 4 months. so i don't see us seeing anything like that until mid to late february.

And test invites are received through emails I believe ?

Both...email and physical letter. You will need the physical letter to take to the test date with you.

Wife's application delivered... and the waiting game begins.... :)

I am a future applicant who lives in a Border City Windsor. I commute to US every day since I work there. I have a house in Windsor and have completed close to 3 years in Windsor on PR. Will I be eligible to apply for Canadian Citizenship after 4 years. Does my working in US will make me not eligible. I come back to Windsor every day and have not stayed for more than 12 hours any day in USA and my I-94 would also show the same details. Please respond.

Hi Capricorn,
The physical calculator only counts full days you are actually out. If you drive back everysingle day, then I guess it doesnt count as an absence (Example: I left Monday for the US and returned Tuesday, it will not show any absence at all. But if I left Monday, and returned wednesday, then it will show 1 day of absence). If you really want to make sure, you can always email the cic helpline to confirm.

Yumi.

25 days gone & no "AOR"

In your case, it is not 25 days without an AOR. You should count your days as of 18 Jan not 5 Jan.

Hopefully this helps :)

That's correct. Spreadsheet should change too

Makes sense. I have changed my dates in the spreadsheet with my new dates. Looks like the incomplete application when sent back, gets started fresh again :(.

another journey begins.. my family got their citizenship last year. Unfortunately, I got denied due to almost a year of physical absence in Canada (all work related.. was sent overseas to supervise construction and commissioning of a project). I tried fighting my case to citizenship judge but to no avail.

Here is my status:
Received Application: 12 Jan 2017
AOR : 26 Jan 2017
