Hi Guys,

CIC has returned my application because I forgot to sign the physical presence calculator (Stupid Me)

Anyways, I just wanted to know whether I should just sign that and sent it back or should I do print out new copies for everything?
They have stapled the application and some of the papers and also have stamped a few of the papers saying " CPC-SYDNEY RECEIVED DEC 28th 2016"

They have sent an annex A which basically says,

Please check one of the statements below, sign date and return this annex A and your application to the mailing address indicated below.
Choose one of the two options.

Option 1: I wish to resubmit an application for grant of citizenship. I have included
  • The application form

So I am gonna tick this and sent it back.

Now the thing is should I just sign it and sent it back or should I reprint all of this and submit again.
  • the required documents based on the Document Checklist of the form for a grant of citizenship (CIT - 0002)
  • the proof of payment.

Option 2 : Request a refund.....

So should I just sent this back or should I take reprint all the files and then resubmit it as a fresh application along with the annex A.

Thanks a lot in advance.[/list]

anyone know why the spreadsheet is now locked for editing?

  • option 1 sign and send it back, don't need to reprint.

Hi,

I landed in Nov 2012 and also going to apply citizenship in Jan 2016. If anyone please suggest that would be appreciated.
How fill the Tax question (Q6J) in form ??

Taxation Year Required to file Taxes filed

2012 NA yes
2013 NA yes
2014 NA yes
2015 NA yes
2016 Yes NA

Is it correct? Please anyone ...

Instead of N/A under "required to file" you have to click off the yes box as you were required to file them at the time.

Agree with u Rigly about this point, but can we just write down N/A by pen next to 2016

Just check of the No box as you haven't filed them yet. IRCC knows that it is not time yet to file them ;).

Hello All,

I'm planning on sending my application on January 18. I have a question regarding the physical calculator. I'm filling out the absences in the past 6 years. In my case the relevant period is from January 18, 2011 to January 18, 2017.

The issue is that I was out of the country for the full year of 2011. But when I put down my first absence, obviously starting from January 18, 2011 to whatever, at the end of the calculation in the results page under "Number of days physically present per calendar year" and under year 2011, it says 1 where it should technically be 0 since I wasn't presence that year at all. Any of you have encountered a similar issue? Should I start my first absence from January 17, 2011 instead even though that it is outside the relevant period?

I would appreciate your help.

Thanks!

i have a quick couple of questions guys,

i recently bought a house, i put my home address on the application, (it is also my mailing address) my Indian passport and my drivers license still show my old Canadian address, do you think it'll be an issue?

Also my Indian Passport was expired from 12 Jan 2015 till 11 Jan 2016, i have explained in the application that the reason i did not renew my passport was because i did not have any travel plans...do you guys think this will be an issue?

It looks like only one person has got AOR in January as of yet. Things aren't really moving as fast for us as the december applicants, eh ?
