Hi,
even if baby is less than 2 years is it necessary to send her birth certificate also? nothing is mentioned like that anywhere! I already applied without baby's birth certificate. Do you think that will be returned?
anyone Please suggest!

not sure about child's age, but a members ( canada1234 ) application was returned because of missing birth certificate.

I think if a child is born outside of canada then a birth certificate is required otherwise not. Yeah it was not mentioned anywhere that's why I did a mistake.

2015 yes yes
2016 yes yes


I wasn't quite sure what this section meant so I just checked all yes.

I now realize this is wrong but would this make any difference on the process?

I seriously don't understand how can someone say "I wasn't sure so I just checked all yes". The form clearly states that the info must be accurate. What kind of excuse/argument is this?

It should be fine. you just sent your application. by the time CIC works on your file , tax season will be here. when you get your T4 for 2016 , dont waste any time to file tax return. worst case They may return the application to you. you may need to rectify and resend the file. these days its taking 2 weeks to get AOR , so not a big deal , even if the application gets returned , you wont lose much.

if you are counting 2016 as one of the four tax years , then this may be a problem.

technically the problem is that on the day she/he signed the application she/he hadn't filed. So a bureaucrat can technically see this is a dishonest application based on the date they signed the application and submitted it.

wife's application just dropped off at CanadaPost (Xpresspost), let's see how many days it takes to get there. Not sure if they move xpresspost during weekends. Anyway, date on forms is 21 january.
Let's hope for quick delivery to sydney and aor soon!
